Beware! Bought this when it was posted a couple of months back and had to return thanks to the 1-2mb transfer speed I was getting (regardless of device) which others also experienced.

    So slow ahh

Looks like read speeds are veryyy fast, like transferring 1gb in a couple seconds, but write speeds will average around 10MBps for large files which is standard cheap USB stick speeds.

It's only £9 so I wouldn't have expected much but "USB 3.2 gen 1 speeds" is extremely misleading imo.

If this was capless I would 100% go for it, but I have lost many USB caps in the past.

So you converted your others to capless, just do the same with this

Thanks for highlighting the unacceptable slow speed.
USB3 has NO minimum speed spec. and cheap usb3 sticks usually are slower than a reasonable usb2.
I wonder if they use usb3 circuit on old carpy memory to make these rip off super, new gen. rubbish
