Nice one. Well spotted. I couldn't find that one even if I did a search for kingston and a search for SD Cards.

Thanks OP. Good find. Voted Hot !

its even £4.36 now, what a bloody bargain.

Thanks! Good Price. Just ordered one.

Isnt the 1Gb SD mini card with adapter a better option at £4.01 delivered from Dell?

Great deal, Heat added.

good price, good deal, but its not as jinkssick makes out.

If you want one cheap, but today, without the mail order/delivery problems, morrisons sell 1GB SD cards for £5.

I know which I'd go for.

Good deal though, heat left.

Nice one Ste7ieBoy! Bought a couple, and got some Micro SDs whilst I was at it.
Voted hot and Rep added.
Cheers, Firstade

are SDs compatible with SDHCs?

SDs will work in SDHC compatible devices. But not the other way round.

Yes may as well have the Mini-SD with the full-SD adapter as it's more flexible and cheaper (though I'm assuming there's no potential performance penalty).

ie "Kingston - Flash memory card ( SD adapter included ) - 1 GB - miniSD"

I got 2 x 1GB of those for £8.01 delivered (with potential for quidco rebate too).

Thanks guyz.

Thanks to the OP - voted hot!

Voted hot. Went for the mini SD in the end but good find all round.

No free delivery now coming up at £12 58

I found quidco was unable to track my order this time. I always delete cookies before hand. Perhaps Dell don't allow quidco on reduced accessories.

Good point! Unfortunately I was out so I've received a card asking me to telephone an 0845 number.

I have experienced this before ordering from Dell. In fact, no one picked up the phone. After several calls, I went back to Dell who asked me to wait while they call on my behalf. A very lengthy, costly experience. Dell use some of the worst couriers I've ever known.

Tracked fine for me:

What I couldn't believe is how Dell had the cards delivered. They arrived by courier in a cardboard box big enough to fit a normal sized kettle in !
I actually made the driver wait whilst I opened the box because I thought it was an empty one ! There was some of those infaltable packing pillows inside and lost in the bottom 2 sd cards.

The driver/courier seemed to know what he was on about as he said that the box was the smallest they delivered !
Dell must have lost money on these cards let alone waste of resources.

I got mine really quickly.
Fortunately I was in but didn't recognise the courier they used, although the delivery chap did say he hadn't been round my way before so he can't be with one of the main couriers, what with all the bargains I keep getting delivered!

Well Dell service stinks is my opinion!

I ordered 2 of these (in the mini-SD format) on the day 9/1 and got all the confirmations with expected delivery 17/1.

By 15/1 it had become 23/1.

By 19/1 it had become 29/1.

By 31/1 - ie two days AFTER should have been here on 3rd recount, it had become 8/2.

When I just logged in to see if there was any chance to tell them what I thought, it then came up and didn't say anything about order delivery, but just said status = 'we have cancelled your order'. And a few minutes later they bothered to email that too: "Your Dell order NNNNNNNN has been cancelled. Because of a problem with the combination of components we cannot complete the order."

In other words we take your order, fib about delivery not once, twice, three times but four times and then if/when you bother to follow it up we cancel the order. That sucks!

Shalln't imagine I shall ever bother with them again. Makes you realise just how professional and customer friendly and successful most other e-traders are!
