Before someone says, cheaper here: hotukdeals.com/dea…529

I might add that the title says 204 pins, but the details state 240 pins. So maybe desktop RAM? Well my deal's picture is wrong so that's about even

I think Visa debit cards do a similar buyer protection feature as credit cards anyway.

I’ve bought this and it is laptop memory. It was £58 for 8GB kits a few weeks ago but their prices move around a lot even within a day sometimes.

Agharta, great, I'll keep my eyes on it then. Do you happen to know the branding on the chips themselves? I just got a Kingston stick and it uses Micron whereas the Kingston value was rebadged as 'Kingston' so I assume a no-brand generic.

At 1066MHz CL7 is at least as good as a CL9 1333MHz board at the lower speed.

Corsair have only had a returns depot in the UK for two years, forums.hexus.net/war…tml

Kingston have been here, well, ages.

Just checked as I have one on the desk as it happens and the chips are branded Corsair which suprised me. Maybe the part number on the chip can identify the manufacturer!

It's worth a google, you'll probably be pulling more than the RAM as you strain to make out the tiny print
