the reviews on amazon from people who know what they're doing suggest that this is fairly slow unfortunately

10mbs write lol

If the manufacturer's inflated specification cites maximum speeds of 40MB/s read and 10MB/s write then you know it's gotta be slow.

KINGSTON ARE HORRIBLE - DON'T BUY

KINGSTON ARE HORRIBLE - DON'T BUY

I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM

thats barely even exceeding USB 2 read speeds and certainly no where near for write, this is simply so they can write 'USB3 FAST!' on the packaging. COLD

actually they are pretty decent i throw everything at it homework, movies and songs and it still pay like a charm, even works on my fussy blu-ray!

USB flash drive and sd card manufaturers usually make cards with different speeds. This looks like the low end of Kingston USB 3.0 flash drive series.

Utter ignorant/false dribble!
Kingston are regarded as one of the best if not the best with regards to IC/Memory chip reliability, this is reflected in their warranty's which are 5 years most of the time.

Kingston are fine but you get what you pay for. £40 buys you the 64gb hyperx with 200mb read 100mb write. And yes these are real figures. Cheap usb 3 are barely worth it. Best is probably the lexar but the all plast if deign is terrible and mine didn't connect every time.
