This will be perfect for my tablet. Good find.

a bit of warning to anybody considering this - you will need 3 hours to fill this. I have the 32GB version and the write speed averages 3 MBps. (slightly higher on large files, slightly slower on small ones)

Not ideal for PC's, but as my tablets doesn't support exFAT, I'll have to stick with USB 2. Plus, with the physical size of it, can't complain.

I've bought this for the car, not bothered about the write time.

Good valid points above for alllllll to remember still ..... lol. :-)

Thanx OP .. Hot Deal. :-)

Just a warning about people buying for cars, I bought this and unfortunately my car only reads up-to 32gb devices, bummer! With that in mind im willing to part with mine if anyone is interested

Why do we need to be "warned" that it would take 3 hours to fill the device? That seems totally reasonable to me, and even more so given the physical size and price of the product.

Unfortunately when I plug the device on my Kia Rio 2012 USB slot it shows "Reading" for a second then shows "Reading error" and that's it.
If I pull the device out a few millimetres it does sometimes read. I have made sure the formatting and mp3 files contained comply with the car's specifications. However it works on my Windows laptop.

Kingston technical services has suggested to return it to the supplier as it complies with the manufacturer specifications for computers

Do not buy. Looks nice and compact but its horribly painfully slow to write to (less than 1Mb/sec it would take at least 8 hours to fill it!

Brought this product as i have usually found Kingston USB products to be ok. Arrived on time and that was the only positive thing I can say about this product really. After a couple of times plugging in and out of USB ports , and it doesn't fit very well, very tight to plug in, the thing started to come apart. It's basically a poor fit into USB ports. Do not waste your time buying this product.

Thanks. Useful!

I bought a 16gb one of these for the car over a year ago. Was meaning to fill it with mp3s so put it somewhere safe, I haven't been able to find it since.
