Kingston are the absolute worst when it comes to SD card sizing.

I understand that the count 1000kb as 1mb and formatting has a slight over head but I have purchased a 8gb SD card from the that formatted as just under 7GB and a 64GB card that formatted as 56.5GB.

Their response to my email:

"some cards have bad sectors that are not used, that's why the size is smaller"

Other cards of same sizes from other manufactures have always had more formatted space.
