    Even if is not super fast (write speed)... For those who have no issue with say having a cuppa, doing a chore or watching TV etc etc while waiting to load data.. data that doesn't need to be done regularly... THIS IS FINE!!!!

    It's fine for the money and faster than you might expect, I seem to get around 10MB/s (sometimes a little higher) and that's totally usable for dumping films on to access on a tablet or phone later. My only real complaint is the port is flush which means you often have to remove cases to plug this in, which sometimes means a USB A drive + dongle is better.

    Which is 3.0, also 3.1 gen 1.
    All the same thing, lol.

    Perfectly fine to chuck loads of films etc on for a TV/media player or to take on holiday.
    I use similar ones for Windows installs, the read speeds are plenty good enough for that. (edited)

    agreed: I use mine in the car for music / movies on ICE. Works fine.
