Thought this is a good price for 8gb or Ram, even cheaper per stick for 16gb. Sets of 2 so you can uprade in the future.
Sold and fufiled by Amazon. They look pretty nice imo too with the slick black.

Very good price, I got amazon.co.uk/gp/…RG/ not long ago and paid +-£70 for 8GB.
This is 1.65v RAM. I am no expert but I had read that only 1.5v RAM should be used with Intel as 1.65v can cause damage to the CPU.

Please don't scare people off lol... just a quick google would of answered this.

Same question, similar ram, answer given. Simply no its fine to run between 1.5 -1.85. Though stick with 16.5 max, people have tried 1.85 but I wouldn't do that myself and ram overclocking isn't going to make such a noticable difference. 1600-2133 is what I'd stick between.
1.5.-1.6.5 seems the sweet spot for 1600-1866MHz-

They used it at 16.5volts too fine

The 8 gig ones run at 1.5v if you look so the 16 gig kit 2x8gb modules run at a lower voltage.

Fair enough. It was however a Toms where the topic of not using 1.65v had come up, I had been reading lots of threads before building my desktop 2 months ago

Haha no problem, I can see why you'd think that then and you're just pointing out for others but I recently bought the CL11 16Gb of it from amazon for a new rig so I was pretty sure these are safe to use.

"1600-2400 MHZ"
still good price nowadays. DDR4 is coming out later this year so I would expect prices to drop, although it means even less DDR3 will be made, if any, so it may not.
Can't see any RAM prices dropping, only one dropping seems to be this beast series, still wish I bought these instead of amazon.co.uk/Cor…ile

The beast series does look pretty mint in a RIG.
This is not a Special price, it never was £ 94 odd, its around £53 everywhere else
Lowest its been £36.79

Are you trying to say 16gb is £53 everyelse because that's absurd or the 8Gb?
Read the title and description properly, I never said the 8Gb was £94, the 16Gb is around that price.

Okay, yeah ... time machine comment... so on, we're dealing with current market price. If you have found these cheaper else where feel free to post it. The chart shows its dropped in price in recent time.

You're making the assumption they bought them from amazon lol, if its not been that price as you said then they probably bought it else where.

£94 odd is very cheap for 2*8gb memory dimms, you must be trolling.
sorry seems to be my mistake, not really cheap but ok price for someone who wants it around £10-15 cheaper, might be better waiting till they drop at least decent amount, sorry again, thanks for posting op and voted hot

No problem, seemed like simple mistake. I think £90 or so for two sticks is still good price, £47 for 1 8Gb stick of this kind is hard to beat. Under the £50 mark for each stick.

yes seems good price especially some cost alot more, would have probably bought it if had money, alittle tight budget at the mo so will stick with around 8gb max

Because I gave Amazon the price they were asking which was 112 at the time. For the 2x8gb sticks I might add.

Very nice!, almost feel like I should of bought 2 sets lol!.
Only getting 2% off from Flubit, but still tempting (going for 2 sets).
Would someone mind explaining the "1600-2400" bit please?
Does that mean it's capable of being pushed to 2400?
Or will it run at 2400 just as well as any RAM that is advertised as 2400?
-If that is the case, why bother putting 1600 then? just for compatibility?

Many thanks

It means that this memory line goes up to those speeds, this specific memory speed is rated at 1600mhz, it'll probably overclock to higher but the rated guaranteed speed is 1600, if you do a search you'll see other Hyperx beast kits that are rated higher like 2400 but they're all a cl of 11 usually which works out slower than cl9 (cas latency), you want a low cas speed and as high on the other end like 1866 or more, but is very hard to get and very expensive if you can get it, all in all this memory is fast and very cheap.
so i q i am getting the i7 4930k woud this memory be enoug coz its cl9 or shoud i gor for the 2400MHz cl11 ?
