Pretty good deal, it's been £14.99 since last December (I bought some then) and I thought it was a bargain back then.

Any good deals for DDR2 laptop ram?

MONSTER DEAL - THANKS

8GB (2x 4GB) of Corsair 1,333MHz SODIMMs varies between £57 and £60 delivered at
Crescent Electronics; their prices fluctuate throughout the day!
Bought loads of this from them at work (£1k+) and found the next day service good although their email notification of shipping is random.

Why this is not Hotter!

My old laptop is a FS m3438g. That website suggests THIS memory. Do you think I would be ok buying 2 of THESE. The laptop only supports up to 2gb and I think i read somewhere that 2*1 gb is faster than 1*2 gb? I would really appreciate your advice before I go ahead and order.

Thanks

If your laptop only supports up to 2gb then that's your max, as for how you do it it does not matter if it's 1 or 2 dimms at all, providing they are the right ones.
Indeed if you go down the 2 dimms route and they are not matched, you will get problems,
so in fact safer with the one 2gb

This is a 16 chip (8 each side) memory; fitted this into the Lenovo B560 and running dual channel too.
