^ I don't think it will, your Acer model uses DDR2 RAM as far as I know. You might want to check these out, but I dont know the exact requirements of your netbook, so you might wanna check before you buy:

I don't think you should check that out, considering it's Desktop RAM.

This chip didnt work with my intel ion board I got. Seems like it has a few compatibility problems.

Perfect for upping DDR3 netbooks to two gig!

HOT

Mate has a Dell Inspiron 1018. Would this be appropriate for it?

Will it fit my Dell Inspirion 910 notebook? Cheers for guidance.

DDR2 for me it would seem

Hi any of these any good for a samsung nc10 cheers

There is also Kingston 1gb DDR3 laptop memory at Box.co.uk for 6.49.

Been this price seeen I was nothing but sperm in my old man's ball bag.

Here is a suggestion for everyone asking about compatability - though I could do with someone more knowledgeable chiming in about compatability:

crucial.com/uk is a very respected memory supplier and usually good price - though these kind of deals are often far cheaper.

On the above page there is a system scanner that will report back and tell you what your machine needs and currenly has.

So mine says Dell Studio 1555 DDR2 - it suggests that I have 2 slots each containing a 1 gig module - which is disappointing - I would have likeld to add a 2gig modeule to make 4gig.

However, the 2 gig module it says is compatible is:
Part #: CT1017161 • DDR2 PC2-6400 • CL=6 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-800 • 1.8V • 256Meg x 64

These cost £25
So which parts need to be compatible ? If you see a match on Crucial then you will be ok
but I dont know the critical parts eg PC6400 vs PC5300 and the speed rating.

Eg Plays DDR2 - dont know if this would work for me?
Kingston KVR667D2S5/2G ValueRAM / 2GB / 667MHz / PC5300 DDR2 / 200pin SODIMM / Laptop Memory

Does anyone know if this would be suitable for my iMac?

This is what Crucial recommend:

4GB kit (2GBx2), 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-8500 memory module
CT1778221

Module Size: 4GB kit (2GBx2)
Package: 204-pin SODIMM
Feature: DDR3 PC3-8500
Specs: DDR3 PC3-8500 • CL=7 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR3-1066 • 1.5V • 256Meg x 64 •

Would 2 sticks of this Kingston ram be as good?

What you're going to need there, is some iRAM. Comes in a much prettier box.

And will be out next year in white.
