I don't get it either. Some people seem to be on an Amazon rebellion at the moment. Me personally I go where the bargains are

it could be something to do with the way they operate like you go buy something at a price but get to check out it's jumped up in price (not small jumps like few pence always big ones) and when its events like this they up prices first then take them down to what they was before claiming it's special.

other thing is customer services suck now.

Can see where you are coming from but price fluctuations happen across most retailers and supermarket. Looks at the recent Argos scandal with the prices going up for the 3 4 2 offer. Fortunately not had to deal with CS for a while so can't comment on that

I have family that works import/export business so they order stock from all over the world and at retail level the prices do not change every min/hour like amazon do you buy it at rate in advance (pricing changes if you get offers from say Kingston discount item but that lowers doesn't go up)

stock goes u when you order another batch or if say kingston only discount so many units from that batch you already had amazon do not do this and it shows with there low pre order deal that they guarantee you get it at that price they are scamming people if it moved about every min/hour you wouldn't be able to do this you would be running risk of losing a lot of money

This has just done to same now up to £50 but wont get stock in until december time like i said they are iffy this sort of thing needs regulating

Trouble is if you shop at Amazon nowadays you no longer know if you are getting a bargain or missing out on one

I didn't say it was right. It's done to force people to panic buy and it works. Also just goes to show that this year's black Friday deals were actually nothing spectacular given the price is/was the same a few days later

Are these drives what are used in laptops 💻???

Why are they so cheap!? AND why are laptops with SSDs so ££££!?

back up to £49

I agree with some of the negative Amazon comments. I've use them for years and had some good deals. Over the last 18 months or so, I've found them to be pants.

its not selling point to average joe they prefer to hear large numbers like 1tb hard drive which stores so many songs not 120gb ssd and compare the price per gb £40 120gb ssd vs 1tb hdd.

this is the same reason why so many people buy rubbish cpu laptop systems they see 3.7ghz celeron when say quad core pentium is only 2.9ghz they dont understand also stores dont help they just want sale

back at this price again

but it's misleading show's as in stock and Prime until you go to checkout and it switches to 2-4 Dec and no Prime shipping just expedited

To be fair with prime, it's usually next day but not guaranteed and expedited is simply as fast as possible which is next best thing. My SSD only arrived yesterday and I ordered last Friday.

was that using prime expedited?

If so that is really poor

for me the point was they was claiming it was in stock and prime available but at checkout that changed.

Was just prime delivery on the Kingston 240gb. I was holding out for better deals and debating whether to have the ebuyer offer or not, waited too long. Ebuyer sold out at which point Amazon's delivery had shifted from the Monday/Tuesday to Wednesday but got it now anyway
