Join the many schools, consumers, businesses and government groups that use Kingston's standard Secure Digital cards when using SD-enabled devices. With the built-in write-protection switch to prevent accidental data loss, Kingston's legendary quality assurance and affordable price - you'll get peace of mind and the best price-to-performance value.

Sounds like a good deal, rayman. Any idea about the reliability of these cards, say compared to the ones made by Viking?

AFAIK, Kingston are one of the world leaders in memory tech. Viking, again AFAIK, is just badged OEM, usually a lot cheaper but not quite so reliable.

Just about to order one of these for my sons new Panasonic (also found from here )

If you don't want to wait the extra time for free supersaver delivery from Amazon you can get the same SD card from www.dvd.co.uk for £17.99 delivered quicker

Order x 2 1GB from DVD in Aug and Sept, and delivered within 2 days... top company

I paid £14 I think for my 1GB, so this is a great price

Yeah it would be better to order from ]http//ww…2GB and use Quidco to get the extra 5% off :-D - Nice find!

I'm pretty sure that Viking cards are just rebadged (rather re-strickered) Toshiba branded cards and not OEM. Would someone care to confirm this?

Yup... your spot on! All of Viking Memory Cards are Rebranded Toshiba. But Kingston is a better brand IMHO.

The lifetime warranty with Kingston is useful and they are my preferred choice for low cost SD cards.

Thanks for the DVD.Co.UK info Kazzea ;-) Definitely worth it if you're going through QuidCo

I think Quidco is definately overated. In the 8 months I have been a member I have received less than half the commision I am entitled to. Either items not tracked or tracked but not paid. I have been paid £65 and I am currently owed around £80 and have not received satisfactory responses from them.

Damn, I might reject my Ebuyer order and order this!

Cheers Rayman!

Anyone know the speed of these? ie. x40, x50, x66? I need x66 or above.

That's actually a Market Place seller, so delivery on top of that would probably make it more expensive.

Just clicked on the link to look at the item, and it's showing as £13.84 and in stock.

That price is from an Amazon Market Place seller which means p+p will need to be added.

Thanks for noting it though
