It's a spin-off from Toshiba, so reliability should be fine.
Are these only for laptops? Or can they be used in desktops. If so what adapter is needed? Thanks
You can also use it off a PCI slot with an adapter, or via USB with an adapter or enclosure.I use one via a ribbon cable & card adapter, or if you have room (your graphics card doesn't cover the slot like mine does!) you can just use a card adpter.(edited)If you go the USB route your speeds will be restricted to around 500.Check out the Orico enclosure posted on here.Got one from Aliexpress for under £9, and took just over a week to be delivered.

Hot, nice one!- Would this be compatible with a 2015 MacBook Pro?
the 2015 Macbook pro uses a bespoke interface and is not directly m2 compatible. I think someone posted on here about adapters you can get to shoehorn an M2 drive into a MBP. You'd need to check the total lenght of the drive + adapter and see if it would actually fitt, too!
