Can anyone vouch for using this company?
It was Toshiba Memory Corporation, just the name changed.
    Very good drives.
Flash memory branded by WD are actually made at the Kioxia plant (SSD's, USB flash drives, etc). (edited)

I have this in my newbuild and had no issues with it. Read and write are both rapid.

Price dropping back a bit now.
Down to £59.99.Still a good buy at that price imo for a drive with DRAM.

Going to sound thick here but can I just swap this for the 128 SSD I have as the main drive in my computer?
If you have a spare M.2 slot, you could install this and use cloning software to copy the OS onto this drive.

Wondering if I'm right about this and also if people are generally aware - You can only get stated speed out of these things if you put them directly in the motherboard pci express slot.

If you put them in an external USB enclosure, you can't really get over 1000mb/s. You can get maybe 1300mb/s if you use an expensive £100 thunderbolt 3 enclosure AND if the computer has one of those ports.

Despite the stated speeds of usb3.2 and thunderbolt 3 ports, external drives are just super slow compared to internal.

Seems to be a bit difficult and misleading finding this out anywhere on the internet.
Correct, but very few people use NVMe drives externally anyway as it's not worth the cost.
May as well buy a SATA SSD and put that in an enclosure instead as it would be cheaper and not perform much differently. (edited)

Any one use their SSD drives are they any good?
Very good drives, Kioxia is just Toshiba Memory Coorporation (Toshiba invented Flash memory!) with a new name after other investors bought majority shares in the company.
