I would check this out before buying, it's reported to not run too well on Switch (30fps at 900p). And some footage of jerky gameplay.

Not being negative just a heads up
Like Metroid, Kirkby is not a great franchise either with bang average games. Didn't play the last Kirkby offering on 3DS but Kirkby paintbrush Wii U was average stuff at best.

People have different opinions tbh
Some info needed. I've noticed that the popularity of the switch is rising rapidly. Can anyone tell me what the fascination is? ( I'm thinking of getting one )

1. I am aware of this thanks.
2. Is helpful to potential buyers if you and others share those opinions.

Console gaming on the go. That's pretty much it.

Go play Mario Kart 8 on it and you'll understand!

As for me, i wanna play Zelda and Mario Odyssey previously, then I found Mario& rabbit is a surprise, splatoon2 is brilliant too, I don't have a wiiu but I want play Bayonetta2...so I think when I choose a console, I just think about the games on it.

From what I've seen the gameplay seems to be locked at 30fps. I would of liked to see 60fps as well but I guess they've gone for a lower frame-rate because of the pressure 4 players on screen at one time puts on the system. I haven't seen any jerky footage or anything to suggest it doesn't run well though.

You're entitled to your own opinion, but generally I like both Metroid and Kirby games. That paintbrush game was pants though (an opinion shared).

I've always loved classic Nintendo franchises - Mario, Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda, Kirby, For me Switch is a double whammy of being able to play the latest versions of these games on a system that can be a handheld on my lunch-break at work and a home console when I get five minutes in the evening (which is rare these days).

Would have liked "would of liked" not to be used.

I would have liked an "I" to be used, but I appreciate your assistance with my admittedly average grammar.

Great 4 player local co-op game. If you have young kids they would love this. Highly recommended!
Isn't Kirkby a district in Merseyside?

(I got the video to play in the end, so I've edited my comment). In the GameXplain video that I linked to at the top, if you skip to Whispy Woods at 8m 30s I can't see the same issues replicated, but then I notice that the gameplay is slightly different. Maybe that Japanese footage you linked to is an earlier build of the game? Here's hoping.

What is helpful about knowing that you didn't play a 3DS game or like Metroid? Plus you got the name of the character wrong 3 times.

I find it weird that you have a Mario avatar, so you obviously like Nintendo, yet every comment I've ever seen from you here has been you being negative about everything Nintendo release.

Isn't 'KirKby' a Kinect game where you get to overact and wave your hands lots?

Metroid isn't a great franchise, with bang average games? What are you talking about?! 5 x 90+ rated games and 3 x 85+ on Metacritic, and that doesn't include the incredible Super Metroid...
