I'm not a fan of these, I like the tower

We brought the silver one a couple of weeks ago. It looks nice (for a fan). The assembly instructions aren’t great, I’m usually okay at these things but it still took a good 20 minutes to get it up and running.

The fan is very powerful, unfortunately, it’s also very loud, even on the lowest of the three speed settings it’s too loud to have on in the bedroom overnight.

I like ALDI stuff a lot but all things considered, I wouldn’t recommend this.

although they are slightly louder than the plastic ones they are way for powerful and effective as they are metal blades
got one from Wickes a few weeks ago. so for so good its pretty quiet too.
I dont think ive ever had a fan you can have on and sleep with due to noise. I got this last year. Its powerful and looks good.
It's impossible to find a quite fan these days....all I want is a gentle movement of the air, likes fans used to do....all fans now are too 'high speed' and sound like a small aircraft getting ready to take off.....!
Nice pedal stool to put my feet up on...
Got one of these too, it’s great. Would agree it’s slightly fiddly to put together though.

Is is a bit louder than my old tower fan but way more powerful, I’ve no trouble sleeping through it.
Bought the brass colour. Quieter than the one I had before and looks stylish. Only draw back is the switch placed at the rear
We bought the copper one looks really good and it’s really powerful we have it in our the bedroom I don’t find it too noisy I manage to sleep with it in fact it sends me and my newborn to sleep!

Dyson fans, though they're pretty costly
I must be rare I like a loud fan at night sends me sleep

Hey.

We've had this fan for many years now, if you can find one I'd recommend it. Still going strong and it's very quiet in operation. Stirflow is the brand, and whilst it's not a big name it sure is reliable and quiet. It oscillates and tilts. Agree that most fans are way too loud.

Got the same/similar item last year. Yes it's not "quiet", but it's far from loud. However, it does a brilliant job at moving air around and also keeps our quite cool. On the lowest setting is better than most fans on their highway setting!

Think I paid £20 or £30, not entirely sure. Either way, well worth it's money

no maybe 64"
Chap at work said he got this fan... He said it's really good, too good in fact, as he has to turn it off after it'd cooled the room... He also said whilst putting it together the first time, he put the blades the wrong way round as the instructions were not that clear
Sold out !
