You obviously didn't look up how to care for a cast iron skillet, with all cast iron pans no matter how cheap or expensive you must cure with oil and put in the oven on 200C for an hr or two, this builds up a non stick coating on the pan. And for the rust again it's cast iron, do not leave it soaking it water, dry it on the hob as soon as you have washed it then rub it with a lil oil all over the pan, this prevents the rust. You cant treat cast iron as you would one of those non stick pans, however the little extra care means it'll last longer than any nonstick frying/griddle pan.

Yes, lets resort to insult the people who do not agree with us. Makes the internet a better place. I still think the pan is crap even though you have hurt my feeling's.

firstly non-constructive criticism and then 'sarcasm' and finally the moral high-ground and sympathy. Lets leave it here. Have a good life

Me saying the pan is crap was my experienced opinion. I have the pan, I prepared the pan, I used the pan. It was crap. There, constructive enough for you? Also the pan has been this price for a long time. It has also been posted before and is also available in TKMax for the same price.

the sarcasm was to describe my tone, as you assumed I had not done my research or even that I had not read the reviews on Amazon. If my sarcasm was in person you would have not felt it as offensive but funny.

My moral high-ground was built on foundations of direct insult which I can only describe as small mindedness. My mention of Sympathy was again sarcasm but I thought the 2nd time you would not need a pointer.

I have also been sarcastic in this post. Does it show?
