I don't know about these knifes so I can't say if they're worth getting or not, but as someone who does a lot of chopping, I can't live without my chef knife, it's good for almost everything. I find that I use my chef knife and paring knife the most. This set would be very useful if it's well made.

I would invest in a very good chef knife, it's well worth it.
Pretty sure these are the same as the Taylor's Eye Witness ones which I have, re-branded, they were £40ish at full RRP though, never worth £50.

We have these and they are great. I saw some reviews where the copper colour wears off. They haven't on ours after 3 months but I think it might be down to dishwashing. Hand wash and you should be fine. Great price. I paid 30

Nice and sharp?
From a trained chef start buying decent chef knives and build your knife collection. It's worth the effort they should last you years. Also get a decent oil stone and steel to sharpen them. It takes time to learn how to use them but you will get amazing results.

Few people saying in the reviews that they are cheap crap and after a couple of washes start to discolour etc

Looking new knife set but will hold fire for some thing more durable.

Surely better to buy a stainless steel set?
