Whilst walking around zapping for bargains I noticed the £179 normal white shelf label on this item had a "*" on it so give it a zap and it came up at £49.75 absolute bargain as the normal /online price is £179.
I have linked to full price item online for product information, worth a look if your big Tesco has a range of kitchen aid stuff

I used this exact machine earlier today. It's really well made and produces good results.
It would be amazing if we could all buy one
what do you mean when you say you was zapping for bargains and what did you use to zap '*'?

I believe he took handheld scanner and was scanning random items hoping for lower than sticker price.

Some big Tesco have the self scan things so you scan shopping as you go, you can randomly scan stuff with a "*" on ticket as they are due to be reduced and often already have been, or stuff in the reduced section with no price on. It's not always right as I've been scanning a Minky rotary airer with a star on price ticket for weeks but it's still full price! But I have had many bargains doing this. If the item is full price you simply press the remove from basket button and it come off your shopping again.
I have noticed if you keep scanning and removing stuff I always get pulled for a "random" check at checkout!

So I'm guessing you just ask for one at the customer service desk? I did see a woman the other week walking around my local Tesco with a scanner. Might check it out. Thanks.
