cracking price but no doubt it will get slated

Great price for that, if you need the free additions

Storm black is £349

I would absolutely love one of these!!

Is there much difference between having a glass or metal bowl?

I have both bowls but only ever use the metal one as I'm scared of dropping the glass on the tiled floor. I suppose its just what you prefer but sometimes it would be useful to have both bowls on the go.

It's a great price and mine arrived very quickly from this company.

I posted a deal for this chap the other day £303 (+£45 odd quidco) but without the ice cream addition and free knife block and the deal went cold. Note the £349 has no pour shield and is a glass bowl. Seems an OK deal given that the ice cream maker is about £70 online.

thank you op for posting, this is a cracking price.

They also price match online which is handy

Stainless steel can taint some foods. If you're mixing something with lemon juice it can have a chemical reaction with the stainless steel and leave the mix tainted. Tomato based sauces shouldn't be stirred with a stainless steel spoon or cooked in stainless steel as again it can, and often does, taint the food. We tend to cook all our tomato based pastas in enamel pans or glass/pyroflam if it's going in the oven.

Good price, even cheaper than the Selfridges deal a couple of weeks back.

Do these things come with a ten year warranty ??, you can buy something useable for a lot less

How does the ice cream maker work

it looks like another bowl from here ?

Likely to be a bowl you pre freeze before adding the mix and using the attachment to churn it...

Great deal... I got mine through them last year and they had a similar deal with other attachments though. They deliver quickly and well packed. I got stainless steel and glass bowls - the glass one is much heavier and came with a lid for fridge storage.

Stainless steel won't react with the acid in tomatoes or lemon juice, it's a non reactive metal. An aluminium or cast iron pan would.

they come with a 5 year guarantee, yes you can but something useable for much less, as you can with most things. but this site is about price and this is currently probably the best price for it.

I recently bought a bosch mum and it was ok but not as robust as what I needed so I sent it back that cost me around £65 on offer. this is a dedicated mixer that has excellent reviews and is made of solid materials, I would personally go for this or a Kenwood but I prefer the look of the kitchenaid.

You definitely get what you pay for. This is the classic design but you need to do enough baking etc to warranty it.

I would have been tempted but bought the kenwood kmix a few weeks for £225 with the free kettle and toaster from John Lewis.

Still not a cheap bit of kit mind.

It's not cheap but it's a mixer that you don't want to put away in the cupboard and leave there as its so good looking.

I'm afraid we'll just have to agree to disagree on that particular point. It's even widely known that it's not advisable to store anything in the fridge in any containers constructed of stainless steel as it taints and can even discolour the food that comes in contact with it.

To be fair, that price is only for the Electric Blue shade and it's out of stock. All the other colours are £429.95.

Cool, just ordered one for the wife. Thanks for posting the offer.
