Really good price for a KitchenAid mixer. Cheapest in Black Storm as other stores are selling it for £399.00, even other colours are being sold for £359 so £299 for this is amazing.

Also free Ice-Cream maker attachment by visiting kitchenaidredemptions.co.uk

excellent deal..got it just before Christmas from JL for this price and claimed a Joseph Joseph chopping board with knives set and kitchen scales
Good deal. Not sure I would be willing to pay so much for a mixer, but my friend has this and swears by it.
Heat added cos good discount.
But I'm holding out for a vitamix.

very tempting

I have this model, but in different colour and had to exchange it twice in within a couple of years. Fantastic machine, but one rusted and the replacement for that one had a faulty motor. Luckily, KitchenAid customer service is fantastic and sorted without any issues.
Good price for the 'Mummy' of mixers. A friend of mine is still using her grandmother's which is about 40 years old.

Get a blendtec. I was debating between the two for ages
they even look great sitting doing nowt.
prefer the kmix.
Hot hot hot!!!

If you want one, buy it now rather than waiting a year ummming and ahhhing, and thus missing out of a whole year of use!

These are quite frankly amazing and I use mine several times a week. I have the 'classic' version which has a lower powered engine but it's still fantastic and if it died I wouldn't hesitate in buying a new one.

This price is great, the machine is superb & should last a lifetime.
Tips:

Buy a spare beater blade and bowl. If you're making a cake, and lazy like me, the last thing you want to do is have to wash them up between making the cake and making the icing.

I wouldn't bother with the beater blade which has a silicone scraper, I have one and find that it makes some batter/icing etc raise above the beater level & is a pain as it doesn't mix so well. Stick with the traditional beater blade.

If you're making icing etc then pop a clean tea towel on top and around the bowl so that it doesn't create a cloud of mess!

They're totally different machines with completely different purposes.

I have both and between the two the kitchenaid is definitely a better buy for my household and gets much more use.

Basically if you're wanting healthy, go for vitamix. If you're wanting comfort and heartwarming, go for kitchenaid X)
And the free ice cream maker is worth over £70!

We have a Kenwood chef classic and find it very versatile, my wife swears by it, I think they are better value, also you take a metal plate off the top and you have a power take off unit for adding extras, we put a glass blender on to this for making smoothies, who needs to buy a nutri bullet?
Thank you OP. Ordered one through flubit. Got £283.99.

Lvl up!
When I was looking at these - and they are very attractive - I was struck by the difference in power between these and the Kenwoods ie 300w vs 1000w+ but if you're not going to be mincing etc perhaps that extra power is unnecessary.

Difference is in the motor, Kenwood use a belt whereas KitchenAid is an inverter motor and directly on the spindle, hence the heavy weight and cast iron construction, built to last.

For half the price, and not with plastic gears that burn out, definitely

Problem is it was expired/sold out even when you linked it and the next cheapest is £100 dearer.

Sitting in a cupboard unused? .occasionally used? ..used 3-5 times per week over that timescale? context please, without it you lack credibility.
Don't start the Kenwood vs KitchenAid debate please folks, ..concentrate on the price as the deal if folk wish to partake.

look primarily at what you wish to do with it, how often, & does it have the attachments that let you achieve this?

Don't be sucked in by idealistic photography & the proliferation of freebies supplied for tv shows, that is merely cheap marketing trickery.
(& most uk kitchens need to stow items away due to size regardless of how pretty & chic they appear, ..although we use our Kenwood KM010 multiple times per week it still gets heaved onto a shelf in the walk in larder).

If you are not a regular baker / cook then with the lack of people actually making food from scratch then even a big mixer asa gadget is fast becoming the ice cream maker cupboard gadget if your approach is mere whimsy.
Just an FYI to those thinking of buying this - you'll shave even more money off the price buy buying John Lewis gift cards online from people reselling them.

I just bought £200 of vouchers online (Gumtree) which I negotiated down to £160 no problem with the seller, and she emailed me over the gift card numbers/pins straight away - which for me took this deal down to £259 overall which I think it a steal for this product.

Check out eBay/Gumtree, there's quite a few that are currently for sale and pop up every few hours it seems.
Thanks guys. Ordered and collecting tomorrow, soooooo excited.
