Can’t even get yeast
No pouring shield, flex edge beater and bowl is glass rather than stainless steal which you get on full price models. If you add these attachments it takes it back to the normal price. Not the great deal it initially appears to be?
Oh I want one. I want the shiny redness.

But alas, I don’t bake and I don’t have the cash. Still a really good deal thought

Is there anything special with this deal for £299 compared to other numerous KitchenAid 4.8L deals this year for the same price or less? Glass bowl maybe? A genuine question here.
Asda like most supermarkets in my area have no flour; Plan, Self or Strong.

I'm with you. Can't find any yeast in any supermarket around here.

Go down the sourdough route.

The motor in these are great. Ours still going strong after 14 years with moderate use. The plastic knobs broke off long ago and the pin which acts as a hinge needs hammering back in place every so often.
The sausage making attachment/ meat grinder is ok too.

we prefer the steel mixing bowl over the glass one as the glass one is quite heavy. Though, I’msure people with me woods are equally happy with theirs.
Any difference between this and the colours that are still £499?

Just like candy red. Lovely colour 😋
I would love a red one but I already have a grey one
Ordered. Thanks OP
I have wanted one for a while now. This is a great deal thank you.
Great deal apart from glass bowl.
Can you Get an attachment to make pasta with these

Yes among many others
Think I’m gonna pull the trigger on this.
can this make dalgona though?
Yeast is easy, proofing a starter now. I just watched a well used KitchenAid Classic go for 200 on eBay. So this at 300 + 5 year warranty is a steal if you don't mind red. Lucky for me it matches my other appliances. This is a good deal on a top machine in it's class.
Can't get flour either...

If you have *any* yeast you can rip off a little bit of dough before making your bread/pizza/whatever and make a 'pâte fermentée' to stick in the fridge and use the next time you need to make bread. This way you only have to use a tiny bit of yeast for the next thing you bake, and your bread will also have a better flavour.
someone mentioned where to get accessories for cheap before but can't remember where it was, i want the food processor attachment

20% off at Argos at the moment

argos.co.uk/pro…352
It's good but the Kenwood equivalent is pretty nifty compared to this and is well cheaper when the artisan is not on offer.
Just bought one off the KitchenAid store on eBay for £230 refurbished. You can't tell it's not brand new,no marks or anything.

Also bought off the Argos site the food processor attachment using the 20% off code bringing that down to about £140.

A lot of money still, all told, but the quality is there and it'll probably out live me..

I had the food processor for a glitch for £40 abour a year ago - Still not even used it. Probably should!
We looked at this recently. Just rememeber the glass bowl is already quite heavy so if you ever need to lift and pour then it'll be tres weighty at that point.
Great price for this brand though!

It's worth using but if you don't need it put it on eBay. People are selling 'new' unused ones for £100-£130

Quality keeps selling.
£300 for a jumped up mixing bowl, money doesn't always equal sense.
Got one, amazing machine but I preferred the metal bowl
Pay the extra and get the real deal Heavy Duty bowl lift models which were made by Hobart before they were taken over and the KitchenAid brand was replaced on them.

And go for the 500W model and it will last a lifetime and mix anything you throw at it
Watched Alex Jones off the one show break the glass bowl and cut her hand on the bake off the other night. Pretty sure it was her fault but would prefer a stainless steel bowl like on my Kenwood mixer as glass is eventually going to get knocked and broken. Style over substance IMO.40300919-N0lQo.jpg
