I managed to use my student discount on this and the price came down to £269.99. I've been looking for a KitchenAid mixer for a while now and came across this. Currently only available in cobalt blue at this price. Available to collect in store or available for free delivery. Hope this helps someone

Great find

Excellent deal. Range of cashbacks up to 7% with Quidco quidco.com/hou…er/

Too bad it's only blue :-P I would get one for my gf

Excellent price, I love my Kitchenaid

Hobbycraft are doing 15% off first orders and more off if you use the link at the top cash back website. Takes any Colour machine to about £320.

Good price but I'd only buy it if they gave me the student discount. As a matter of principle if I shop anywhere that has student discount I ask them to give me the same discount. If they refuse then I'll buy elsewhere.
Don't see why students should get a better deal than others.

Bisidavies -students are offered discounts as they tend to have lower incomes than the average consumer.

I'm not sure which lofty principle entitles you to the same discount. I could apply the same principle to the cinema which refuses to sell me a child ticket due to me bring an adult!

Under cupboard accessory or dust collector

Same, if they can take a hit on 10% profit for students, they are charging me 10% too much

I didn't find these much cop. I know they are not nearly as stylish but I would take a midrange Kenwood Chef over one of these.

I paid more than this for my bog standard Kitchen Aid!

Overrated product, must seen item icon on cooking shows, Kenwoods more stylish, powerful and cheaper.

A good find if this is your kind of thing, but personally I'm a Kenwood girl myself

People can apply whatever principle they want to their consumption - if he demands a student discount and they don't give it, that's the market. Students don't deserve a discount because they are on lower incomes - they just happen to be more price sensitive with certain things.

I'm guessing you've never actually owned one, they're a fantastic product. Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing the Kenwoods, they're great machines and beat the kitchen aid on durability but in terms of performance I find the kitchenaid better. Besides I think the majority of people would agree the Kitchenaid is the more stylish product.

It is about building Retailer/Brand loyalty, Students are the big earners of tomorrow.
Most retailers don't want people like you in their shops or using their goods, it is bad for their image.
Best stick to Argos, Asda, Primark and Matalan.

Lucky student to afford this!

All gone by the look of it. Think I'll check out my local store in the next few days in case they have any in stock.

They are still there if you search kitchen aid on the website. Also a reduced 6.9l artisan though I would go for the heavy duty model with all metal gears myself. Or if you are wealthy and want it to last forever get a Hobart mixer (they originally made Kitchenaid).

Haha, this made me chuckle. I'm a graduate, probably what you'd class a 'big earner' and I shop in Primark et al if they're stocking something I like. Sometimes the snobbery on this 'deals' site tickles me.

I know it's hard to believe but most students have parents. They can also benefit from the student discount.

searched website all gone

good price if you got it
