Kitchenaid may be expensive but if it is what you want this is a great price. Debenhams have reduced to £379, but using the 10% off code TF49 you get a further 10% off. Have tried quidco at 5% so hopefully that will track as well.

Been after this for ages for my wife and got a lot of help from this site so hopefully this will help some others.

Just had a look and can confirm the code works. Problem is my wife can't decide what she wants, this or a multi function food processor? Help. Hopefully the code works long enough for her to decide!

Agree it works as have my confirmation email. Don't know yet whether the quidco will track.

This is a great piece of kit, my partner has this exact one (red) and loves it.

I want one, but am struggling to justify the money when compared with a Kenwood Chef. Anyone convince me that I'm paying for more than pretty looks?

professional kitchens use kitchen aid as they are built to last, I dont know how long the Kenwood chefs last for though. Maybe they're just as good??

IF she is a baker then this is better - especially for large quantities of cake mix or meringues

ive toyed with this on and off for a few years now, i bake a lot, but i still cant justify spending so much on one machine which will be used mybe 2hrs a week...but i still suspect i may end up getting one...not now but at some point

Very good price for a kitchen aid, but I bought a k-mix 2 weeks ago today, it won over this, mainly due to a number of reports of motor issues. Must say it's amazing, I make quite a hit of bread and I can make a higher hydration bread with less mess

Plus k-mix are offering a free attachment at the moment worth about £50

super hot - that's exactly what the wife wanted for Christmas and at almost £90 off plus quidco thats a great deal in my book. Thanks!

Just checked and quidco has tracked at £17.05 so a super price! I have bought the cranberry one.

I am a professional cake maker and I have both a kmix and a kitchenaid - both are lovely but I prefer the kmix it is a lot easier with all the functions on the dial at the front. I also have a 1950's kenwood chef that I got from freecycle when I first started baking and it works perfectly well all these years later !

love mine, makes great mashed potatoes too!

Yip...friend got same one...no mention of the FREE £50 thingy BUT...FOLLOW THIS LINK:
kenwoodworld.com/uk/…er/

You'll get the freebie IF purchased 1/10 - 31/12/2012

The grundig version is well worth a look, it looks like its made by the same factory and takes all the kitchen aid accessories. We've got one and its been faultless.

:-)

I used to have one of these and would dearly love another. Rather frustrating though - just got back from Canada and Walmart are selling these for CAN$199.95

Guys, I tend to make a lot of cakes and desserts and I'm really baffled as to why a food mixer costs £200+?

Awesome! Shame they dont have the candy apple red ones, but apart from that this couldnt be any closer to what I needed!

Heated and ordered. I'll be popular this Christmas thanks to OP!

These (or the basic white version) have been in the Amazon Black Friday deals for the last 2 years. We bought one 2 years ago from them, can't remember the exact price, but it was well under £200. They were also easy to obtain, despite the 'limited' nature of the Black friday offers.

Found kitchen aid, kenwood (and other brands) spares & accessories on chsinteractive.co.uk
Might be of help to some people.

£17.96 quidco tracked.

Total of £341.14 for the electric blue one with glass bowl. Scorching! Thanks again.

Can I be the first to say I hate you for posting this. I've wanted one for ages but just don't cook enough to justify it.

My mum however bakes a lot and asked for a handwhisk for Christmas, hmmmmmmmm

Does anyone know if the discount code is still the same?

Thanks in advance

Can't blumin believe it after a few days of trying to not buy one I decide sod it i'll get a couple one for me and one for me mum and the blumin red ones disappeared and not available anymore

Went to Selfridges and was told that they will have a family and friends promotion next week and selected colours will be marked down by 20%. Also if you have an Amex card, register your card via below link cos they have a spend 50 get 25 credit back promotion on 24-25 Nov on participating stores around oxford street including Selfridges.

So depends on if you are fuss about the colours, you can pretty much get the mixer for 318.2 if you are using your registered amex card (currently it is sold for 429 at Selfridges, 20% off and then plus the 25 statement credit from amex). If you have more amex cards (say 2 cards), you can split the mixer by several card payments of over 50s and get several statement credits...(so 2 cards means you get 50 in total statement credits and technically reduce the price to 293.2)...

it is tricky but it is all about finding little ways to save! Hope this helps!
