Brought this as a present for my better half and it seems a fantastic deal as Artisan food mixers seem to be the higher end mixers.

After a bit of research (knew nothing of Food Mixers before!), this is the KSM150 Artisan model, which has been phased out for two models: the KSM125 (has less attachments), and the KSM175, (has a recipe book and a second smaller bowl). Both retail for more than this, and the base mixer is identical!

TopCashBack for Hughes is 2.62% and has tracked for me. Use code Take10 to take it down to £269 from £279. Delivery is free DPD next working day as well.

This is the first deal I’ve posted, so please be nice! Happy baking all

Just taken what was on the Hughes site, but KSM175 model with an extra bowl and recipe book is £549 right now hughes.co.uk/pro…375

And KSM150 in different colour is £469 at John Lewis johnlewis.com/kit…221

So a saving none the less.
This is on my wish list, such a good price.
Anything with the word Artisan in it has to be marketing bull. Cold from me
Great price, voted hot. Thanks OP. Can recommend the pasta attachment
Still a rip off
From personal experience this is better than the similarly-priced Kenwood models. This is far less noisy, mixes better, and the C-shaped lid slides on and off which is super convenient.

And before anyone compares this 300W motor to the 1000W Kenwood motors: wattage does not equal power. Motors vary hugely in efficiency and operation. To my knowledge the Kitchenaid motor has a direct drive mechanism wheras Kenwood's uses a belt-driven system.

Having said all that, the price is just "OK" - I got mine for £220 from their eBay outlet as a refurb.
If you add code Take5 that it’s self takes away £5 off orders over £50
Now that is a good deal for a new Artisan, yes you can get refurbs on eBay cheaper but they are just that - refurbs - heat from me!

As a chef of 30+ years, I can tell you (with no agenda) these things stand up to a commercial kitchen where the likes of Kenwood simply don't. They are solid and easily repairable (first thing to go on them in usually the gears which are a simple replacement for a few quid)

Clueless, obviously.
Excellent price, but worth noting the KSM150 models are now discontinued and have been replaced with the KSM125 and KSM175. Same machine with slight changes in design. Having said that I would have no problems in buying this!
Amazing price...... I just had to buy...... many Thanks 🔥
