PS I've seen these in other stores with yellow stickers over the barcodes with a higher price. Peel the sticker off and it should scan at this price. I thought it was illegal to stick higher prices over lower prices?!

No, but it would be theft if you removed the sticker to purchase at a lower price.

Not if that's what it scans at. You're hardly taking the barcode off something cheaper and putting it over the top. The problem is they put these stickers on to try shift them before they're reduced in the actual system. The sticker stays, but they then later reduce the item on the system making the barcode underneath, the actual one for the product, cheaper.
