i never understand this:
"Dishwasher safe"
You not meant to clean cake tins by rights.

You grease them, cook them, then wipe them down. As cleaning actually is what causes the damage to them.

well the things is if your greasing them properly then nothing sticks to it, and thus there may be a slight residue after cooking so clean that off. Then next time you use it lets say there was a little of something on it, its going to be cooking for in excess of 30mins at over 150°C and thus is going to kill anything that is on it anyway.

Its a similar situation with things like pizza trays and even yorkshire pudding trays.

With sheet steel stuff yes.

This is non-stick teflon coated, you can wash it a much as you want, although nothing too aggressive as non stick coatings are never up to much.
