Brilliant speaker for this price

Why is all this Kitsound stuff available so cheap at the moment?

wish I'd bagged one of their DAB/ BT variants on the recent vodafone deal
.. really disappointed I missed the posting

kitsound is owned and managed by Kondor LTD, which trades on eBay under various stores, o2 eBay, Vodafone eBay, tech refresh, maybe more, as with lots of companies own brands, rrp is hugely inflated, and those eBay stores probably bring in a nice profit anyway

i bought v2 for £20 off amazon (now £35 oO, would bought 2), i am very impressed with it. one thing to make the sound even better is DFX Pro if using an Android

I just watched that on my phone and it sounds a bit tinny to me!

I was gonna get this thanks to your thread but I bought the kitsound hive 2 being sold by Vodafone on eBay for 20

Yes I use mine with it. The only problem with this speaker is that after a few months you start listening a background noise. I had 2 of them. Same problem. Maybe they've fixed it in the 2nd version

I have the Hive 2 and am really impressed with it for the money....

Is the extra £5 worth for hive2? Confusion (_;)

I was thinking the same thing, they look the same but.............. Check this out:

Gone from the hive2

Sound is really average. Upgraded to one from a cheap Logik speaker from Currys for no sound improvement at all. Bought a Psyc Monic which is streets ahead for not a huge amount.

I'd say theHive2 was worth the extra £5 here. :-)

£35-40 for the Psyc Monic is more than twice the price of this speaker.

Yes, but well worth the extra, or buy a cheaper one with just as good sound as the kitsound. It's mediocre.

You may be able to get the Monic for closer to £30 with some looking around or on flubit.
