Product Description
Introducing the KitSound Ovation
Whether you want to create your own home cinema system or turn your lounge into a nightclub, the KS Ovation soundbar is capable of filling your entire room with sound.

Room-Filling, Virtual Surround Sound

With a career spanning 75 years, it’s no wonder Charlie Chaplin received a record-breaking 12-minute standing ovation when he accepted his Academy Honorary Award in 1972. He may be known for directing and starring in silent movies, but his contributions to motion pictures paved the way for the film industry as we know it today. And with the KS Ovation, you can pay your own tribute. Using spatial time delay, it creates room-filling, virtual surround sound that’s so impressive, you’ll no longer need multiple speakers that take up so much space in your lounge.

Slim, Stylish and Compact Design

Traditional home speaker systems may be made up of endless amounts of bulky hi-fi equipment, but the Ovation is discreet, slim and stylish and can be mounted onto the wall or a table for added convenience.

Ultimate Connectivity

With three different ways to connect to your media, this soundbar is the ultimate audio solution. As well as two HDMI inputs and an optical audio cable, you can also connect via Bluetooth, meaning you’ll be safe in the knowledge that all of your media is being given the platform it deserves.

Three Listening Modes

Because music is our first love, we’ve added a ‘music mode’ to help you throw a party of epic proportions, but by switching to ‘movie mode’ you can transform your living room into a cinema too. And if you just want to wind down, you can even choose night mode (which we reckon your neighbours will thank us for).

About KitSound

We are craftspeople. We are musicians. We are KitSound and we all commit ourselves to achieving one shared goal: Bringing people closer to their music. By understanding music we stay true to its craft. Pure, rich, incredible sound. We settle for nothing less.

Dont get mine till Saturday,Im in Ireland, let me know what you think of it if you get a chance

Will this be fine for a 50 inch plasma?

Can't say you'd be wasting your cash on buying a second hand Yamaha Sound Projector instead. YSP range is the next best thing to real 5.1

This looks enticing as I too have been looking for one for a while @ a good price & with HDMI in/out connections.
I appreciate there will be set up instructions included, but, can anyone give me some clues how I need to wire up my Samsung tv, Sony Blu-ray player & Virgin Tivo box for best results please before purchasing?
Thanx in anticipation.

Product Dimensions: 0.1 x 0.1 x 0.1 cm ; 100 g:-*

I believe that must be the box dimensions if they mean 0.1M x 0.1M x 1M !!
As the "Unit size: H85 x W800 x D90 (mm)" would then fit in it with all "Box contains" parts.

Looks a top deal to me.

Looks pretty tempting, would be good if you could attach a seperate sub to it

KitSound Ovation Slim Soundbar Speaker | UnboxingVideo

Edited by: "stealthx" 13th Oct 2013

60W RMS is loud enough for a living room. Not loud enough to drown out shouting at each other in a house party but good enough to feel part of an action movie. Beware that a lot amplifiers or systems quote peak power, nearly double so RMS is the one to look at.

only 3 left, if anyone wants to buy at offer price

Connect it all via HDMI cables. You'll need one from the TV to the Soundbar to carry the video to the TV. Then you will need one each for the Blu-ray and TiVo sources. Then the Soundbar will process and play sound and pass the video on to your TV. Alternatively you can keep the setup you have an if your TV supports audio output you can connect the rear optical or coax digital output to the input of the soundbar

60w is really poor

most tv`s only use two 10w speakers so this incomparison would be a dramatic improvement .

Have heard the quality of the kitsound bluetooth the hive wireless speakers and am impressed with the company, so I would be tempted to buy one if it weren't for a recent soundbar purchase already.

Awwwwwwwwwww too late

Amazon have got it back up to £149 now

Well just set it up and got to say very impressed didnt realise my tv speakers where so bad I now hear footsteps, creaking floor boards lol prob shoudnt have watched sleepy hollow.

One thing instructions are useless they tell you to plug your sky + blu ray into hdmi then the soundbar into tv tried it and got no where ended up just plugging everything into tv and a optical cable coming from tv into soundbar no idea if this is the best way but for now it works might google tomorrow to see but this seems the easier way.

Also buy a one for all remote that way you can programme it to turn your volume up and down on soundbar while watching sky because I dont think you can make the sky remote work with soundbar again will google just because the missus uses the sky remote lol dosnt like my one for all.

Phone was easily connected to bar with bluetooth again lot better than playing it thru tv so well happy if this is what a cheap one sounds like I cant imagine what a full system must be like with 5.1 and speakers all round.
