Introducing the KitSound™ Pixel

As well as giving you access to hundreds of digital and analogue stations, the KS Pixel DAB/FM radio is ultra portable and has an alarm function too.

More Music

Unsurprisingly, waking up to music in the morning can put you in a better mood than waking up to a buzzer. Our Pixel DAB/FM radio has a dual alarm with the option to wake up to the radio or a buzzer and a sleep and snooze function, but it's much more than just an alarm. Giving you access to hundreds of digital stations, the Pixel provides a wider selection of music, with up to 10 presets for ultimate convenience.

Easy to Use

Extremely easy to use, you don't need to worry about remembering wavelengths and frequencies or fine tuning a station to get the best reception - simply choose the name of the station from the Pixel's LCD display.

Ultra Portable

Thanks to its tiny size and the fact that it has up to 8 hours of battery life, the Pixel is ultra portable, so you can wake up happy wherever you are.

intruiging .. over an hour since the purchase was confirmed and no money has left any of my accounts yet ..

*fingers crossed for a freebie*
No option to 'Buy it now' and won't let me 'Add to basket'. I've added to my watch list so will check again in an hour or so
Ebay Out of Stock
Seller on EBay states the Kitsound Pixel Mini Portable DAB Radio and Alarm Clock will be back in stock soon and will be continued at the price of £9.99. Keep checking the hotukdeals link above.
Seemingly good deal, but read the reviews first.
i bought a cheap DAB radio about 3 years ago for £14.99 from Morrisons. The user interface is possibly the worst I've ever used, you almost need the manual everytime you use the radio, because you forget how to work the overly complex interface.
i always remember being in a cash converters some years ago and seeing a clock radio in their cabinet priced at £4.50.

took a closer look at realised it was a pure siesta dab clock radio so i bought it

Which one? Do you think they will have another one?

With the nature of the business it's a total lottery as to what you find in there. The one I found was mistakenly marked at that price anyway because they thought it was "just" a clock radio.

And anyway, it was about 7 or 8 years ago
hhmm .. probably still not worth getting excited over, but the money still hasn't left any of my accounts yet. maybe i had a tenner in my paypal account that i'd forgotten about ?
Heated, tempting but has very mixed reviews, probably fine for a basic radio / alarm though and I actually quite like the design of it, especially the blue one.....

Ah it's back in stock! Might get the blue one then...

Heat added!

Wouldn't mind getting one of these but the reviews on Amazon are a bit iffy. Not sure what to do do...!

fair play. could always message the seller and ask for a blue one if they have one i suppose, although since my pink one - at the moment - appears to be a freebie, i'd better keep my mouth shut
Nice one.
Just got a blue one.
I have a great aversion to pink but its a great deal. Im torn with what to do.

I had a pocket dab about 10 years ago and it used to eat batteries. DOes anyone know how this one is. The one i had was so bad i spent an extra £10 on a power cable for it.
Blue went back in stock again so i have ordered one.
blue back in stock still - perhaps i should have waited!
picked mine up today. tiny little thing it is.

setting the preset stations was a bit of a faff initially but once i realised how you actually do it, it was quite easy.

not a bad sound for a single speaker, so certainly ideal for my kitchen. even though it's pink
Unfortunately the seller seems to have been overcome with greed and has doubled the price to £19.99, so time to expire I'm afraid.Obviously unexpire if the price goes back down.
Cheers for the deal Buzz!
Do you have problems with this radio?

It's fine on FM but on DAB I can't play BBC stations despite being within 1Km of a transmitter and placing it a few cms from a DAB clock radio that has no issues. Wondering if it's defective or simply c*ap.

i haven't had any issues so far. it took me an age to figure out how to save presets, but as far as the reception goes, i've only had a few wobbles on a couple of channels - capital radio being the main one.

i think it's just a bit crap really - the size is probably the main issue. maybe they've had to scrimp on the internals and the aerial isn't up to much ?

Storing stations is a bit fiddly but one of the problems I've had is that stations don't stick to the allocated channel.

Aside from that - and it's connected to AC - it's more than once just completely reset and lost everything. Add to that the only DAB station I can play is the first in the list and I think I may have a faulty one. Odd that it won't playback BBC stations. It's going back, no choice. Even in a room where I can see the DAB broadcast aerial it fails! Oh well better luck next time.

It does sound like you've got a faulty one there, so you'd likely be within your rights to ask for a replacement I suppose. I've put mine on battery power and it seems to be working well enough - i can select and play any preset and it hasn't reset itself .. yet
Received mine today and fairly pleased for a tenner, biggest issue so far for me is volume, I like a bit more oomph, but other than that it's as expected
I received mine, at first I though it was broken, first 15 channels in the scan were just the noise when you can't get signal. But later channels in the list are working.

Thank god I read the instructions or I wouldn't have worked out how to change stations.

Fine for £10 but volume it a bit rubbish.

weirdly enough, i found that as well - if you went up from channel 1 and tried to listen to some of the stations, they didn't work but if you went down from channel 80, you'd find the same stations working perfectly. weird.
