UPDATE (8am 02/03) - out of stock online now, but try in-store. Still some available phoning around. A local-ish store for me has agreed to post to my local store.

I've also had it confirmed for the £5 off in store you will need to present the voucher from their recent promotional flyer. Worth explaining to them you had intended to order online with the code NS324 but couldn't as it had sold out.

Kitvision Splash Waterproof Full HD 1080p Action Camera with Mounting Accessories and Waterproof Diving Case....

Priced down to £40 on the Robert Dyas website now, but apply code 'NS324' for £5 off a £30 spend to bring it to £35. Add on standard delivery at £3.95 to bring it to £38.95 delivered. Don't forget cashback (Quidco/Topcashback) if you are ordering online.

I'm not sure how using codes in-store works for Robert Dyas. I received a leaflet from them containing the £5 off voucher which also gave the code for online use. Whether you can go into a store and just mention the code to get the discount.....I'm not sure, might be worth a try, If so, you should be able to pick it up for £35.

Product code: 177217 | Model: KSSPLASHBKDYAS

Some reviews on the Amazon site - amazon.co.uk/Kit…LC/ Currently 4.3 / 5 stars over 7 reviews.

A lot of videos/reviews on YouTube of course - youtube.com/res…ash

Just bought one! thanks for posting! HOT

After something like this. Saw one in Aldi similar price but have done no research - any hotukdealers give a quick opinion which is better? This seems to have more accessories.

seems good but 32gb doesn't sound very big , how much video will that store ?

Can this be used as a dashcam?

32gb at 1080p on my Gopro 2 will do about 4-4.5hrs. On a day's skiing the battery goes before the memory.

What does Splash Waterproof mean? It's either Splashproof or Waterproof surely?

See pic above with attachments. One of the Amazon reviewers comments:

"Something I was really pleased about was how many accessories it comes with. There's a bicycle mount, helmet mount, tripod adaptor, mount for flat surfaces, and a round sticky pad to stick the camera onto your dashboard."

One of the attachments (see post above) is for a dashboard, so I hope so.

Try in-store.

For anyone interested this looks like an attempted clone of the Intova SP1 range (Same design and retail packaging, which is an alternative to go pro although generally a lot cheaper. If you are looking for closer specs to a Go Pro then the Intova may be worth a look, I am sure this will be a great budget option for some but tend to use mine for one off activities where I may not get the chance to do it again ie Scuba, zip lining etc. Picked up my last SP1-N for £85 for the real thing on Ebay and it has 1080p at 30fps, 12mp stills, diving mode etc. That said this is a very cheap option so good spot OP!

or look for sj4000 pretty good results

**** , missed it

worth checking in store if you can

Daft question why do these action cameras all have fisheye lens? i assume that it is something to do with wide angles, are there any options with regular picture or do you have to dick about retrofitting.

should be good for diving, waterproof to 50 ft

Calling around a few stores with some left, so worth checking.

I've also had it confirmed you will need a physical copy of the voucher to get the £5 discount in store, but you could maybe try explaining you wanted to order online but couldn't as out of stock.....not sure how far you'll get.

Original Poster

Not sure why expired as still available in some stores.

Original Poster

I've requested for this thread to be un-expired and updated to reflect none left online, only in some stores.

Definitely. I was hoping to pick up in store myself. My local is out, but next closest is going to deliver one from their stock over so I can pickup at my local.

As mentioned, they confirmed to get the £5 off you will need a physical voucher from their recent flyer. I'd still say it's worth explaining you intended to order online, but couldn't due to it being OOS.

Managed to get one in Basingstoke. My local store is ringing around for another for my partner. Plenty in stock, just need to find them.

Sounds like the right decision and still a great price. Mine has made it to my local store, so I'll hopefully pick up tomorrow or Thursday.

Does it take normal or micro sd card ? Haven't opened it as it's a present for my little boy
