This was selling at £102.99 which was the cheapest price around for the black model. I know the silver version is available for £60-70 but I reckon the black is far nicer looking.

I have one of these and I absolutely love it. The sound quality, for something this size, is absolutely amazing.

Read the reviews on Amazon and you'll see it is a class piece of kit.

Indeed. Right through the range, even at low volume, the sound quality is lovely

I know this model has been around for a while.....are there any compatibility issues? thinking about the latest generation itouch etc.

Looking at the Klipsch igroove SXT which I think is a newer model @ £99.99 from Richer Sounds. Any advice on this subject gladly received. Thanks in advance.

compared to bose soundock?

compared to bose soundock?

I have the Klipsch and can vouch for it being a really good piece of kit. As for comparison with Bose Soundock I could not personally say as realistically I did want to pay the Bose price level in any case and therefore did not listen side by side. However, when I bought mine I did quite a bit of looking at various reviews and many people who had compared the two seemed to think there was minimal difference in quality but quite a big difference in price. I would suggest taking a look at some of the reviews on Amazon (although there are a lot!) as this gives a good "feeling" on the subject.

Mine plays and charges the latest Touch and 5th gen Nano. I don't know about the iPhone, though.

It comes with a few different cradles for different pieces of equipment too.

As for the Bose comparison, my brother in law has a Bose which he paid over £300 for. This blows it away in volume and sound quality. I'd reckon you'd have to go further up the Bose price ladder to match it.

Got one for my birthday - impressed with the sound, though have only used it with my Walkman (despite my requests, my wife bought me an ipod as an "upgrade" to my Walkman - ipod still in box under bed).

Absolute bargain! Got one for Christmas at this price and I can confirm they are not just fantastic looking, but produce crisp clear and powerful sound on a par with the Bose Sound Docks.

Anyone buying a Bose sounddock after comparing these two would be buying it purely for the name in my opinion.

It's doesn't charge 2ng Gen iTouch but does play them.

Plays and charges iPhone 3G (my spare one, which I thought I'd lost).

Want a good looking, fantastic sounding dock then get this!

HEEEEAAAAAAATTTT! Sizzle!

Thnx OP!

You're welcome

Can't believe this isn't hotter!

this is really hot, was about to put it on here myself.
just bought it, looks ace, runs fine with my Iphone3GS 16gig (it says put in airplane mode, which it works fine with).
I wanted an alarm too which it didnt have BUT an alarm set on iphone rings through the speakers anyway so happy days!
£60 off and only 55degrees hot.....

I was told the iphone is outselling other phones at a ratio of 4:1 so maybe this will start to hot up

ADDED: It plays not in airplane mode too (which is better as the phone does not take incoming calls on airplane mode)
