This is a £5 reduction on the previous deal here.. excellent earphones & price!! RRP is £39.99. Glowing Reviews at Amazon They are currently working great on my Nokia 5800! .. (includes 2 years warranty) .. (start blurb..

An exclusive collaboration between Klipsch and Amazon- introducing the Klipsch Image X1. Cheaper than a standard concert ticket, Image X1 in-ear headphones let you go live on stage with your favorite artists anytime, anywhere. Plus, theyre so comfortable youll never get tired of wearing them. These extremely affordable, high-performance earphones go above and beyond what youd expect from the stock earbuds that come with your MP3 player or music phone. In fact, youll find Klipsch headphones are far superior to other brandsdelivering unequaled comfort, noise isolation, musical accuracy and bass. Furthermore, Klipsch has managed to take its decades of research and development experience to value engineer the Image X1, while staying true to its audiophile heritage

Made just for you, the Image X1s exclusive soft and flexible oval ear tips naturally fit the contours of your ear canals, providing comfortable long-term wear as well as producing a perfect acoustic seal. A good seal minimizes outside noise, also known as noise isolation, and allows you to enjoy your music at lower, safer volumes. These headphones come with three different sizes of washable ear tips: small, medium and large single flange designs. So light and narrow, they are almost impossible to feel inside your ears...

...Available in a beautiful piano black finish, the Image X1 makes quite a fashion statement. It carries a two-year warranty and works with the iPod, iPhone and other portable devices that feature a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

Anyone can comment on these compare to the Sennheiser CX300-II (just about to place an order on this)?

Thanks

these are better id probably think.

Any other comments? In the same boat and want to be sure!

Amazon reviews seem quite positive. I suppose for £20 it's not too bad.

Thanks - definitely hot - was tempted at £21.99 - rude not to at under a score

Excellent deal! Heat and rep!! Got my set ordered. Had some CX300's from Senheiser, but the bowl broke off from the speaker after about a year on one of the headphones and that was that! Been looking for an alternative for a few weeks now!

Thanks.

Klipsch quality!..hot!

Yeah I'd say the Klipsch would be a better choice than the CX300s

Hmm, could these indeed replace the CX300's/EP630's?

Time to get Googling I guess.

My CX300's have just died, in warranty but perhaps fancy a change while I mess about getting them swapped.

Edit: Reviews are saying big things about comfort, this cnet one only has the negatives down as 'expensive with tangly wires' which obviously isn't applicable here! reviews.cnet.com/hea…tml

Hi huggychair. I listen to the radio on my 5800 at work and the only headphones that produce a decent signal are those that came with the 'phone. Have you any experience of these as an aerial?

Anyone know of some that use a 2.5mm jack. I need some decent ones but cheap!!!!

Get a 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack for like 20p from Dealextreme.com and leave it on the end of your earphones. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the only 2.5mm buds out there are those that come bundled with stuff, which of course are absolute junk. Anything else is just as bad. Please, god, will developers stop using 2.5mm jacks.

Edit: Just grabbed a pair of these earphones after a quick Googling, can't wait!

is it just me, or did you think they were golf clubs at first glance..... just me..? ok.... :whistling:

Are these the same headphones, that review says $350!!! Surely the insides are different??

However, worth a punt at £20, I need some decent ones since I lost my previous decent pair (forgot what they were, but they're somewhere on a canadian ski slope!).

I bought these (see link), and was thoroughly disappointed. No bass (like the Shures), and a pain to fit each time (like the shures):

amazon.co.uk/Kli…-11

I've just received the CX-300 IIs and am delighted. I had the CX-300 Is for several years before, running on a Philips Go-Gear and they were great, but when I purchased the Sony Walkman, the bass was overpowering. But the IIs are just right and a brilliant buy especially at this price:

Good point on the second link, but read above (posts) Re: build quality etc. :?

I bought the Klipsch Custom 1s last year when they were on HotUK. Brilliant for the price - especially the no-tangle cable and the noise-cancelling fit (used them at Silverstone). Only problem was the around-the-ear design being a pain to fit so have gone for these new ones to see if they are better.

Look good, already have x2 pairs of headphones tho

Yep. But I've had my CX-300 1s for about 3 years and still as good as new. People have to bear in mind, if you look after things, they'll generally last.:).

Also, if they fall to bits on you within 2 years, send the things back under warranty. I was so undewhelmed by the Klipsch, I'd take a chance on the Sennys, oh I did!!:p

I have the standard Sony Walkman headphones (the semi in-ear ones). Anyone bought these to pair it with their Sony player? If so, can you so how it compares to it?:geek:

bought these, look stupid, crap sound, not worth a tenner, never mind rrp of £40.

are you sure you got the fit right? If you dont get the seal then they'll sound tinny and wierd
