I went to Singapore in January, en route to see my ex boss in his new place of work in Batam, just across the water.. I splashed out and stayed at the Marina Bay Sands for two nights just to experience the pool ..Beautiful Place, Super Clean, Super Cheap Taxis, but Super Expensive for Alcohol, £16 a pint on the Hotel, outside was around £10 a pint.

Even in January in was Hot & Muggy

I did a Emirates Multi City ticket, from London to Dubai, Dubai to Singapore, I stayed two nights in Dubai too & that helped break up the time difference of approx 8 hours, in fact i had no jet lag

That website has scam written all over it. Blank "about page" and no contact details at all. Run a mile and book with a proper agent.

I see what you mean! Though Skyscanner have a flight, on one of the dates for £344, the extra £7 is a very small price to pay for peace of mind. Not had time to check all dates, but likely there's more

Well yes, I understand that perfectly. I meant the same KLM flight through them. After all the use of a site, the likes of Skyscanner, is what this posted deal is all about. Whether or not you like such deals, is your prerogative. I didn't post the deal, so it makes no odds to me.

Seems to be a bit of confusion. You are not booking flights with Flight Scout (powered by Skyscanner), it' s a comparison tool to help find cheap flights. I have found it quite a useful tool to find cheap flights and see dates for different destinations. In this instance it's showing a number of dates available for £337 with the cheapest flights booked directly at KLM which I have listed in the post.
Great price and the flight durations are good: only a couple of hours longer than direct (shorter than via ME hubs, and without the small risk of the Iran situation causing problems to those hubs at the time of your flight).

How was the pool? Would love to stay there one day but would probably be terrified of the height

I just came into the thread for the music.
Nothing for school holidays....

Why can't schools stagger their term times!
Wtf £90 for luggage return
But why would you want to go to Singapore?
I have stayed at Marina Bays Sands and the pool is wonderful, a little scary as you swim up to the edge but fantastic
george.lindsay04/07/2019 16:21

But why would you want to go to Singapore?

Why would you want to go anywhere? Singapore is a great place to visit for a few days and you can easily spend weeks in that region going to Malaysia and Bali.

I also stayed at MBS last year, best hotel ever. Get the club room plus if you can afford that little extra. Well worth it with all the little perks imo

We made trip to Bangkok-Phuket-KualaLumpur-Singapoore.. the last one costs like the three other, I think it's expensive living there, but worth to visit at least once in life, beautiful place

I've been twice and it's easily the dullest place in South East Asia. Total vibe free zone, expensive, nanny state.
It's the worst-of-Asia meets America.

Depending on the dates available in September, there's the F1...

Long-distance flight posts should be forced to include checked luggage in the title. No one is flying to Asia with a backpack.

Don't forget you'll likely need to pay for seats if you want to reserve even if booking direct with KLM - might not matter to some but it will for others.

The friendly people, beautiful sights, hawker centres, cleanliness, changi airport and the weather is a pro but also con for some people. I'm going again next year thanks to a previous deal for premium economy seats for cheap through Lufthansa.
