The remake of "Klonoa (Door to Phantomile)" for the Wii is currently listed for a release this coming Friday (22 May 2009) at Play.com for a bargain price of £14.99 (with additional incentive using QuidCo, if you wish).

From Play.com's product page:

"Klonoa's long-awaited return offers vibrant graphics, motion control and new secrets to discover in this update to the series' debut adventure. Highly revered as one of the best platform games of the past 10 years, Klonoa will ignite Wii owners' imaginations with addictive gameplay, exciting stages and a memorable story.

Help Klonoa save Phantomile, a land formed by the dreams of its inhabitants, and recently besieged by an unknown evil. Klonoa's breathtaking journey takes him through a series of increasingly difficult stages across multiple kingdoms as he strives to save his friends and homeland. Throughout his quest, Klonoa is aided by his friend Hewpoe, a benevolent spirit who resides in the ring from which Klonoa is able to fire his Wind Bullet. The Wind Bullet gives Klonoa the ability to grab and inflate his enemies and use them to his advantage.

With a simple move of the Wii Remote Klonoa can throw captured enemies to break obstacles, uncover hidden items or defeat other enemies. Klonoa can also use any enemy he is holding to perform a double jump which allows him to reach high ledges or jump across large pits. By moving the Nunchuk, Klonoa can use his whirlwind to slowdown approaching enemies. In addition to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls, Klonoa offers a wide range of control options for any style of play, including Wii Remote only, Classic Controller and the Nintendo GameCube controller."

Hi fpLong time no seeThanks for posting a great dealAndy

Indeed, Andy. Thanks.

A great deal to compliment the great deal of time I have not spent at HotUKDeals recently.

My attention to detail is slipping as a result "For Play.com's product page" should read "From Play.com's product page"!

The temperature reached 40 degrees a moment ago, but somebody has voted it down a degree already.

If anybody can find this cheaper, please let me know... I've still got time to cancel my pre-order at Play.com...

I'll bring in back up to 40, Hot

for those that dont know you can get anno for the wii for 15 quid if you pre-order on whsmith

great game, i loved the ps1 version but near the end of the game i got to a screen i had no clue about getting past.

but if this is 15 now, how long before its even cheaper?

Scored 8/10 at ]IGN - sounds like a bargain.

Brilliant game - if you love platformers this is a must.

Add another vote to this being a superb game. One of the most memorable I've played from the original PS era. Must must buy at this price.

I heard this of a nintendo forum, supposed to be great fun and a classic.

I've got Klonoa 2 (Lunatea's veil) for the PS 2 (cost a small fortune as well) and it is one of THE best platform games i've ever played .

Very tempting

i loved the original, was fantastic

Ordered and heat added, was hoping to find this cheap and to get it this price before release is fantastic.

Voted hot, just got an email from Play saying it's been dispatched.

FYI: A delivery from Play.com today gave my six year old something to do instead of talking throughout "Knight Rider"... well worth the £14.99!

Just "bumping" a previous deal listing of mine, as I noticed Play.com still seem to be the cheapest for this title.

Amazon (direct) are listing the product at £14.99 but a "1 to 3 month" delivery period.
Gameplay.co.uk are also stating £14.99 but "Sorry, temporarily out of stock, please come back later.".
Game.co.uk are also out of stock (£17.99).

If you fancy something cheap(er) as a gift for your Wii little ones (of any size) this Christmas, then this is just another option to add to the feastive confusion!
