This should get hot !

hot!!!

I remember when I thought amazon were gonna honour the £90 kmix deal, about 2 years later and I still don't have a stand mixer, I only wanted it for kneading dough though, so I just bought a bread maker with kneading function for a fraction of the price. But I digress, Hot Deal

Ordered - Bargain

Yellow is 299 in john lewis!

Before buying this, look at Andrew James food mixers. They are very good value. I have the larger model and it manages 3lb flour for baking bread (3 loaves) . Magnificent mixer!

oooh if only I could afford one at the moment, cant justify it though, I only bake as a little hobby, my electric handwhisk just died so want to get a stand one but will probably go for the co op morphy richards deal

Had never heard of KMIX before, and then I read an article with one of this years GBBO finalists, Andrew, where it asked "What kicthen equipment can't you do without" and he said "my beloved KMIX, and some silicon spatulas" - I think that's praise enough when you consider most will go for the Kitchen Aid in this feild. Yes, Kitchenaid has gone down the route of cutting corners to cut costs. They have passed those savings onto consumers in the USA, but still charge their premium prices here. If you have a look at reviews on amazon you'll see that they are far from bulletproof as they used to be.

We bought one when it was around £140 in John Lewis a while ago. It's been excellent and we use it a lot more than we thought we would. It definitely makes a difference to the quality of our baking.

It's the same price at Amazon, but probably worth a look at the reviews to see if it suits your needs. The Andrew James mixer mentioned above might be better for you.

I purchased this morphy richard mixer a few months back - it is the worst piece of junk you will every spend money on. It doesnt mix properly, half the cake mixture stays on side of bowl unmixed, the splashguard falls off constantly. Its truly dreadful, mine went back to amazon within 3 days. I seriously would consider cancelling any orders on this

Actually I'm finding it underpowered.
Mine broke down after few uses and is going back for repair, but great price, so heat added.

Aaaah wanted the blue one. Was looking at pay £280 for it over the past few days.

Settled on the gray stripes.

Just ordered one. Must have been the last white one as it wouldn't let me buy 2.

****, looks like I'm too late. This would have been an excellent Christmas pressie for the wife.

Since when has B ugger been a naughty expletive. :-s

Anyone managed to register on the Kenwood site for the 5 year guarantee ?

It doesn't recognise the KMX83 model number even though it has all the other colour model numbers .
