I've been wanted to get my loft sorted out and with Wickes having a click and collect discount code this weekend I did some research and stumbled upon a great price of £1.96 p/m2 of topup insulation, however there a few steps involved.

Step 1)Buy 4+ rolls in a multiple of 2
Step 2)Select click + collect in the basket
Step 3)At the checkout apply code "JAN20S"

There is already an offer of Buy one get one half price on loft insulation and stacking it with the JAN20S code brings you to roughly 45% off the original price of a single roll

Good find OP, I have been meaning to re-insulate the main loft since I moved in, as it's pretty much turned to dust.

What does top-up insulation mean? If it means what it does can I pop it on top of the duff insulation? Or am I best to remove the old stuff and put down fresh insulation?

You usually put the 100m thick loft insulation between the joists. Then the top-up insulation then runs at ta 90 degree angle on top of it, it's usually wider too. I'd say chuck this on top, you spend less time in the loft, don't have to dispose of the old stuff and have thicker insulation as a result, this is my plan and I've got really old loose porridge oat like insulation

Got it, thanks. So if I wanted to fill the gaps within the joists I'd need the 100mm base stuff (which is also on offer), and this would go across the joists, wherever it's not boarded. I'd need to go into the loft to have a look around then.

Do you know when the deals/codes run until?

The code runs out Sunday night

Good price, bought some a while back from B&Q,but overestimated and got twice as much as I needed. So I've got 8 packs left over. Mine are by Knauf for B&Q, same depth 200mm with 5.4 m2 in each pack. Happy to let them go v cheap because I need the space. if anyone's interested, DM me.

Thanks for this, got 4 rolls for £43.97, last lot I got from B & Q for similar insulation was 3 rolls for £60.
