Been looking for some insulation for a while to top up whats up in the roof. Bought some own brand insulation like this few months back for £5 a roll so this is great value. Can reserve online and collect. Got 5 rolls today for £15 !

Excellent deal & the facility to get some indication of stock on line.

Why would anyone pay full price with periodic deals like this?

I posted a deal the other week for Wickes "3 for 1" loft insulation thinking it was a good deal - this is miles better. In fact I needed 1 extra roll to complete my loft and picked up a B&Q pack tonight (wish I had waited now before getting my original 3 from Wickes!!) Hot deal

This stuff's 8 inches thick. Not likely to be any good for insulating walls.

Build centre along with n power deal usually beats any of the insulation deals posted on here but this seems good per m2.

my loft hatch is only 35cm x 30cm, I guess I won't be able to fit it through? does it come in strips so I can take a few up at a time? I was going to get someone to enlarge the hatch £80 then get Mark group to do the loft insulation (£190) but I think I may do it myself I guess all you need to do is fit them between the joists?

Thanks.

It's easy enough to do but the fibreglass stuff is nasty to handle. Some people aren't that badly affected but if you've never done it before then try to have a little test before buying loads and committing yourself to the full job. Personally, I've made a point of REMOVING it from my loft. I use the stuff made from plastic bottles which is about £5 a roll and doesn't cause any nastiness whatsoever.

If you do want to do it then getting it in through the hatch won't be a problem, each roll is about 5 metres so even if you have to unroll the lot on your landing and drag it throught the hatch, it won't be too much of a problem (apart from the dust it will make!).

thanks for the reply, the hatch is going to be too small so I've decided to get them to do the job which will save me time & stress.
