50 gram balls, some lovely glittery wool for the same price

I never thought of there for wool, might have to take a nosey as like to have a few different colours n my box.

Bought a fab book last week 'knitted farm animals' as my daughter loves the knitted toys

Ours have had it in for months but never bought any as it looks quite thin.Bought some white with sparkly in this morning to see what it is like knitted up.

I was thinking it would maybe be thin. Would be ideal for my daughter maybe who is learning to knit with Brownies

I buy a lot of sirdar wool but it can get quite expensive!

Have been in since at least October

I have bought wool from Poundland - every ball I have bought has had several knots in it, and in places the fibres 'thin' out. I still buy it though because I now re-wind the balls of wool using a wool winder so can wind it into small balls (with knots and thinning bits cut out).

I've bought lots of balls and had no knots and it knits up perfectly every time!!!

I've bought this wool and it's OK. There's a good range of colours. I don't like the sparkly stuff as it comes up a bit scratchy.

I wish they wouldn't call this stuff wool, when its 100% acrylic and nothing like using decent wool yarns.

Dose anyone one knows if pound land in Erdington do knitting needles
