Remember to run through the lion zone.
Never been back to that place since a monkey tore my Fiat Cinquecento apart whilst on a first date (I’m going back 26 years here). Seeing me get all irate over a monkey destroying my aerial (my fault) and having a right old crack at trying to pull my wing mirror off was enough to put her off ever seeing me again...
Nice & guilt free way to get rid of your bitter half, foot safari🤪

How does this work? Just show up?
Run past those big Emu birds too, they are scary enough peering through your car window

If they are bitter, then maybe.
Has anyone ever done this? We've been to KSP loads of times and you pretty much need a car to get there, so you have to drive in and then go through the pay in cubicles. Do you just say 'I just want to do the foot safari' and then go and park up? But what is stopping you driving around, as once you've gone past the pay in cubicles you are basically 'in'.
You still have to pay, its 20 per car, but entry to the foot safari is included

I went 8 years ago on a first date, we're now married and have a baby too! I refused to drive through the monkey enclosure though, we bonded whilst watching them destroy everyone else's cars instead. Though I did try and let an ostrich in through her window.... repeatedly...

You don't. Foot Safari is always free once you pay the car in. This offer is just for the Foot Safari and it's free (unless I and the OP are totally misreading the Ts and Cs)

39702777-xGUJT.jpgYou might be correct, but that link on their site isn't working. You drive through something similar to a toll booth to get in, so I assumed you paid there. I've tweeted them, hopefully get a reply tomorrow

My bad looks like I'm wrong, looking at going Sunday and don't just want to rock up and have to pay gate prices. Thanks

I've messaged them too (on Facebook). It's clearly an offer (freebie) but they've not made it easy for people to find out how to get it. They turned commenting off, on the the Facebook post. I don't see how you can get in (for free) and not drive around the park. Not that I'd do that. Last time we went the camels were on strike and blocked the road. There was a tailback going beyond the lion enclosure because of them. We were sat there, waiting, looking at camels, for about 50 minutes. This meant we didn't have time to do the walk, sea-lions, fair ground etc.

Let us all know how this works could you Richard, once you've got in for free.
Is normally the foot safari an extra expense? Added to the car bit? We normally do the car bit, then park up, picnic and then go to the walking bits with the rides and other stuff to meet the animals.

Exactly. You pay at the booth to get into the park. Drive round the road through the car safari, eventually coming to the car park.

They would of been better letting you get a free ticket on line to turn up with

I went on a monkey cart in Spain and the blasted thing jumped in, stole me lemon Fanta and got off then sat there and opened in and drank it in front of me......now am not saying a foot safari is a chance for payback but.....lmao
29 minute walk despite it being a 1.5 mile journey and 4 minutes in the car
Looks like ill be parking closer.

I'll be going next Saturday so I will let you all know. If not then just do something around Prescot
How do you book tickets for this as its still showing up as the original ticket price?
Shakeyyy17/01/2020 22:36

Unethical. Cold

It’s not as cold in summer so would it be more ethical then?
I went there a few years ago with a car pass. The car in front of me was a brand new Range Rover Evoque and needless to say the monkeys wrecked it. It was as if all of the rubber seals around the windows were impregnated with monkey crack and no doubt caused a few £k's worth of damage. I also think there might have been an expensive divorce too as the couple in the car were screaming blue murder at each other whilst the monkeys were chewing the trim and ripping the wipers off.

10/10 would recommend!
Contacting them they state no need to pre-book, just let the team know when you turn up and they'll honour the free event
