A great deal as normally it's £17.50 per person! No voucher needed it's the standard price.

What a coincidence. It finishes the day the schools break up for half term.

Thanks OP and if you are lucky one of the apes will rip your windscreen wipers off or your wing mirror, the staff have a good laugh when they hand them to you as you are driving out the compound. Read the small print before driving in LOL

Better to do the detour and watch somebody else get their car torn apart

Well you know, it's business trying to keep the need for staff in quite times and all that...maybe they could just shut for October instead?

thinking of going but honestly what are the odds of getting your car ripped apart ?
& is there plenty to see when you walk round ?

You can take the Baboon bus around instead of your car:

I wouldn't take any chances with the baboons in my own car. But there is a car friendly route.

And?

I've been a number of times great day out make sure you plan for the talks the seals and and birds of prey, que up early. Kids meals are reasonably price.
We usually drive the monkey safe route in the morning and then before leaving go through the monkey bit, i've never had any problems but when we went recently they took so many rear wipers hilarious they even took the door rubbers seal from one car and my friends car had his windowscreen squirters picked out

So enough about all this car damage in Liverpool (windscreen squirters picked out indeed. I thought it was usually the wheels that went). But what about the Safari Park?

just weekends and school holidays for baboon bus unfortunately. off peak you got to to just take the chance or not. pesky monkeys

Would love to go but as this offer isn't available on weekends I'll wait until next year when I can go in the warm summer.

Fair enough but there is still the car friendly route which by passes the baboons.

are there plenty of attractions to walk round ?

There is plenty to do once you get there. You can drive around the park as many times as you like, there is a reptile house, a sealion show, a big 'restaurant' area (more like a canteen), a foot safari bit which is like a traditional zoo - meerkats, giraffes and elephants, there's a woodland walk and some fairground rides for little ones which you pay extra for. Its definitely worth £15 for a car load of people - if you have pre-schoolers this is a great day out.

I think the elephants are currently on holiday on another zoo while they renovate their area in this park. At least that is what is written on the website.. I thought I point that out so that people do not get disappointed!

Went with the Mrs & our 3 year old & it was brill. There were a pair of elephants there but the best bit was driving thru the rhinos, the size of their horns are massive & I doubt there's any left in the wild with horns that size.. my daughter loved the rides too & if you are there early enough it's well worth getting a £10 all day pass for the rides. The bird display was well worth seeing as was the sea lion display.

Forgot to add we did risk the baboon enclosure & came away with our rear window trim half removed but some other cars had their wipers pulled off & one car was sh1t on twice in a big way all over his bonnet.
