Awesome! Which is more worth having, the grill or ice-cream maker? I already have a George Foreman, but if it's better value then I can get it as a gift for someone else.

I'm not sure about the Ice cream maker as not seen a pic, but this is the grill:

Thanks for that, ah man I get so much spam in the post from them that looks like a despatch note with all the 'free gift for you!' bullcrap on it.

Ordered and went for the grill. Thanks for posting, been waiting for a good deal on the Kobo Touch.
Good deal
Cheers OP, Grill looks small but can't moan for the price. Been after a Kobo touch for a while.
The Lean Mean Killing Machine!
Worth pointing out that the price is ex vat. Still a good deal if you happen to want a gf grill. Can't think why though.
As the Kobo is clearly based on Android, can it be flashed to run as a tablet device?

Why would you want to grill your girl friend? (or do you mean "spit roast"?)
Hot!
Nice deal, even signed up for the rewards card to get another 10% back towards further purchases. May not buy from them again for a long while but never know.
Great deal..thanks....actually needed a new Foreman....it is the small one same as I have - was gonna go bigger but what the hell this one is free.

Kobo Touch insead of Kindle....hope I dont regret it as wife already has a Kindle and I was going to get another

Is this a viable option to a kindle? Can you get the same ebooks on this a the kindle?

It isn't based on Android, it's a proprietary Kobo OS. Plus it's e-ink, wouldn't make an ideal tablet (scrolling is not smooth, ghosting etc)

Hot deal, tempted!
Damn it! Deleted item from my cart as I forgot to go through TCB (7%), then by time I got back it is saying out of stock for the black model!! Aaargggh!!!
OOS in black
had it in my basket and they deleted it for me as it went out of stock! not impressed

you didnt remove the pointless aftercare
You can get the proper price by removing "order care" from the basket, I didn't see it but in the confirmation email it lists it. Had to call up and they said they would remove it no problem.

BTW though...

You still don't get the price being quoted in the deal!

Think that's only for things like ink and paper, you won't get 10% credit from this purchase.
Ah crap, forgot quidco when I ordered mine! Worth £4.50

Kobo summary............Bought it, love it.

Don't get into the Kindle vs Kobo debate, it ends up as a 'my dads car is faster than yours' conversation.

Key points (for me):-

Pleasant to read from, no strain on the peepers
Good to hold (with cover fitted)
Battery lasts donkeys (Got it for xmas, i use it everyday and I have charged it six times)
Built in web browser (not stunning, but useable)
Built in Sodoku.

As a person who is trying to stop technology ruling my life, I have to say I am a convert to the world of Kobo (or whatever brand you opt for).

Oh and I dropped it in the bath and it's still going................8)
Ordered thanks
Silver also out of stock now. Just Lilac left.
That's not a £39 grill btw. I bought the same for £15 from ASDA, I think it was £20 originally. It's only good for 1 person, if you're interested in buying.
I managed to get one of these with a free George Forman Grill from staples the other day, I also had the £10 off voucher that hadn't expired yet (junk mail through the post). So got the extra tenner off, and both arrived next day for £64.99. Topcashback tracked at £3.82.
The Grill is the one about £20 identical to the one at Amazon here

What is the point in having a basket if the item can just be taken out of it.... grrr

Just rooted my Sony reader

Yes the Sony is probably the best for rooting if that's your thing. But it's still an e-ink device, if you want a slow, monochrome tablet then go for it ;-) Fine as long as you are happy with it's capabilities. But really, isn't the ability to use an ereader as a tablet device what the Kobo Vox and Kindle Fire are about?
