KODAK Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Digital Camera Batteries yield up to 300,000 digital pictures over the service life of the batteries.* They are ready to use, do not require an initial charge, and stay charged up to 4 times longer than ordinary Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.

Obviously worth buying two packs to qualify for free Super Saver delivery.

2100 mAh as correctly pointed out by a couple of posters below. Seems to be standard for pre-charged, low discharge rechargeables.

There's a review here (2nd one down):

sababashopping.com/KOD…htm

Ignore the comments about the charger, but the Batteries sound as good if not better than the Eneloops, which to my experience are the best rechargeables I've used.

SirHugo

2100 mah for those who don't wqnt to click through.

can i use any charger with these?

Yes

Is there a AAA alternative to these ? Thanks

someone recommend a good charger?

you should state what mah they are in the title (2100 Mah)

get a charger that will INDIVIDUALLY charge each battery

there are some Energizer ones that will, look for the 4 LEDs on the front, expect to pay around £ 10 or so

I wanted a charger that would also charge 1-4 AAA , and also do it individually, major grief to find one at a decent price, most of them are £ 30 + , the cheaper ones only charged 2 at a time, even though they would charge 4 AAs at a time ( strange )

If you mean specifically the Kodak batteries, then yes, but I can't find a deal at the moment.
kodak.com/ekn…_GB

If you mean AAA pre-charged batteries in general, there are loads - Uniross Hybrios, Sanyo Eneloops, GP Recykos etc. Cheapest of the bunch though are the Vapex instants - £4.25 for 4 or £7.75 for 8 delivered here:

They're the Green coloured ones - used them myself - they're good.

Done. Thanks to you and eiamhere69 for pointing this out.

Great deal, will go well with the £5 charger deal that I got a few days ago

Cracking Price - heart and rep added!
BTW, the LIDL charger mentioned in a previous post is excellent and will discharge/recharge 1-6 batteries independently. It is a quality item and appears to be a rebadged an 'Ansman Energy 8You would be lucky to find any stock left, but worth keeping an eye out fro when they come around again at LIDL. Just a reminder for that 2100mAh of Eneloop/Hybrio/etc tend to perform much better than 2700mAh of standard NiMH battery.

Good point - these sorts of batteries are hard to find at a decent price so I don't mind putting an order in and waiting for a few weeks til they get stock. Have done likewise before and the goods turned up a lot quicker than I expected.

Mustn't have looked very far, as a couple have been discussed on this site in the last two or three months at excellent prices in a couple of threads.

Currently one still available that I am aware of, about 12 or 13 quid in many Aldi stores still (my local one in Coventry still had them last night, and I saw them in another store during the week.)
and some Lidl stores might well have one priced at either 13 quid, (offer was awhile back, but they didn't sell as fast as you would expect, as not everyone reaslised that they are as sophisticated as they are)or if you are very lucky, half that price, as some were cleared in some areas at this price but I think few stores will still have them. I personally have this one, and love it.

I recently bought this charger.

So far very impressed plugs directly in the mains via a figure of eight style lead (no separate mains adapter required).

Also bundled with a USB adapter lead and 12v Car adapter lead.

Reasonability quick at charging 2-3 hours for 2500mAh AA batteries.

By having one charge channel per cell, a charger can measure and charge each cell by its optimal amount, whereas charging cells in pairs can result in one cell being overcharged while the second fails to reach its full capacity.

Also they're essential if you've got a device that take an odd number of batteries.

What a surprise - some plonker's expired this again. This deal is STILL available from Amazon. Why don't people bother to look at More Buying Choices to check? A Mod highlighted this in the first post. This deals been expired wrongly at least three times now! :x

To recharge my batteries, I use this 'solar' charger from Maplin (£14.99):
]http//ww…583

The picture really doesn't do it justice. It's black, not grey, and is astonishingly well-designed and made, e.g. has an incredible feeling of solidity, numerous 'instructions for use' integrated into the plastic mouldings (expensive) and not provided on stickers, spring-clips on runners to keep the different lengths of AA and AAA batteries in place, instead of the usual springs, so no batteries are at risk of springing out. In a way it's like many Aldi and Lidl products, e.g. the previosly mentioned charger: more advanced than other products and, incomprehensively, sold for a fraction of the price. I'm getting carried away.

However, it will only charge if there are 4 batteries in place and the charging can take a few days, in my experience. As I have plenty of batteries and don't change them too regularly, this isn't a problem. I leave it on the window sill (on a make-shift stand, to lift it above the bottom of the window frame) and forget about it, swapping batteries every few days.

When I bought it, a few years ago, it was only £10, though, but has worked without a problem. Buy a 'mains' charger for emergencies.

It might help if you mention right at the top of your listing to look under more buying choices on the right for the Amazon link, as the hotdeals listing pages only show about the first three lines unless people click on "more" or comments. Also suggest mentioning the 2-5 week delivery.

Also here's an alternate link that only shows amazon's amazon.co.uk/gp/…all
