Kohinoor and Tilda are top Indian brands for basmati rice. Would not expect plastic rice from them !

Plastic rice bounces. Once cooked, press into a ball. If it bounces it is plastic. If it splatters, so to say, it's normal. Only eat brown rice anyway.

Big fan of kohinoor since tilda is way too expensive. Its a good purchase
