Coconut based alternative to cheddar.

Personally the best choice for alternative cheese. So good on a sandwich or grated over your beans on toast. Lovely with crackers too!

Mature but mellow. Added calcium + vitamins D2 & B12. Free from dairy, lactose, soya, gluten and nuts. Free from artificial colours, preservatives and flavourings. Vegetarian Society approved. Suitable for vegans.Delicious dairy free alternative to cheddar made with coconut and added calcium and vitamins.

Does this properly melt or does it just cook in place like low fat cheese?
This is usually 50p in b and m
2 for £1 in Heron

Does it taste of coconuts?
zcaprd7 slight taste yes, I've only noticed it when eating it with nothing else.

interesting never noticed it will look next time thanks!
It’s not cheddar. It’s a dairy free alternative to cheddar. to be cheddar it can’t be dairy free!
Isn't it dependent upon where the cheese is made to define its name rather than the dairy content?

Yes, I think it does, Violife and the new Applewood cheese are much better in my opinion
I have tried 7 or 8 vegan cheeses, and they have all been absolutely disgusting.

I will probably keep trying new ones on the off chance, but I have prepared myself for further disappointment hah

I personally found this high-quality boomering particularly useful when assessing whether to buy this or not.
