Somehow the name "Komputerbay" puts me off but these get very good reviews. 128GB is a massive amount of storage. I'm using it to convert an old iPod to flash storage, but also useful for anyone who shoots raw files on a DSLR - though you may decide it's better to spend twice the price on a better brand if the photos are really important.

Note it's a full size SD card, so not suitable for most phones, nor for many Action Cameras which require micro SD cards. Also note that the device needs to accept SDXC (extended capacity) cards, which will rule out older devices.

great price, i have used these guys before, plus you dont have to worry about the warranty as Amazon are responsilbe for it for a full year....128GB for thirty quid...wowsers!
I use one of these in my laptop to boost the storage, brilliant little card. wish I could have a 256gb version for £60!!
Ordered
As per OP I have just bought to stick in my knackered 30GB ipod - works like a dream

Would not recommend this make for your precious photos BTW
I've used Komputerbay several times for MacBook's & Mini's - not had a problem and Mac's can be fussy with memory.
For general use I think this is a cracking price. I wouldn't use them for photography though. I had the 32GB one a long time ago, used it for a few months and it failed on me mid-wedding.
Anyone know the read/write speeds of these? Should be quite quick seen as its class 10?

How've you managed that, I thought the older iPods were HDD and the newer ones had mem soldered to the PCB?

That's a little of an unfair statement, is it an assumption that because this is cheap it's unreliable? Have you heard of the failure rate of these compared to other brands? I've had 3 of these in cameras being heavily used for the past year and no failures. I've had several other cards fail on me in the past and they were all Lexar.
What class of card is this?

Fair enough. Personally i have several 8 or 16gb cards (all reputable makes) - 128gb is a hell of alot of photos to loose if the card fails.

Ahh, yes, sorry about that. Just assumed it wasn't there, my bad.

Thanks for this too.
