Was tempted by this for my macbook but the single comment put me off, will wait until more reviews are up, heat added anyway as a good price.

I have ordered for an hp elitebook so will update if all ok.

Hot from me, not least as the order is fulfilled by Amazon.

COLD - I bought this for my mac mini about 3 months ago, worked fine for about two weeks and then mac wouldn't boot. Put old ram back in a worked fine again.... Sent it back and bought the corsair for £5 more and worked perfect, seems faster than this ram too... AND I had to file a a-z claim with amazon as seller never responded to emails

Also when you look at brand details in the mac it says brand '0', model '0' etc

Cheap chinese rubbish, get a branded one with decent warranty

Here's the corsair, although appears only market place sellers ATM amazon had it a while back, seems cheaper at ebuyer now

FYI the ram is branded Hynix under the sticker, hardly no brand chinese rubbish.

They only have two left at Amazon Is a shame as I was wanting to up my laptop to 16Gb.
They need to hurry up and get the 8Gb sticks out so I can max out my Precision

I would rather pay a little bit more to buy from crucial direct. - quidco then it is roughly cost same as this deal!

Its just my personal preference. This is still a very good deal

Go crucial or corsair for £10 more.

Would rather deal with those companies should anything go wrong.

My mate has received these sticks today and fitted to his new mac mini, tested and working fine.

still available

I'd rather have Hynix branded chips than no-brand Chinese rubbish covered up with Crucial own branding. But if other components are off this could be a deal breaker. Will try Corsair I think.

Or not now I've seen that dirty gate Corsair label over the chip branding.

Great find OP, have some heat. Ordered on Monday evening for £52, arrived this morning and fulfilled by amazon themselves no less!! Installed in my Mac Mini this evening and writing this review.

Cheers once again.
