Looking for a replacement for my Moto X Force. Unknown brand but that never stopped me buying an honor 6 🙄
Never heard of these.
Heat.
Sorry OP but this is a bit of a stinker. Mediocre CPU, small battery & unknown brand from Amazon for the price of a Xiaomi Mi A1 from China.

Though I do understand that some people would prefer not to buy from China.

You're an unknown - why should I take heed from your words?
Joking aside. Seriously tempted by this. Replace my redmi note4x. This looks good. Fake iPhone X as my son would say!

Have to agree with supersharpshoot. Specs do not look that impresive. The reviews on amazon do not look that real also. One of them compares it with Samsung S8...let's get real. I have a "chinese" phone so nothing against them but this does not look like a particular good deal. The only advantage is that you get it trough amazon so you get some protection in case something goes wrong.

I have said this before on another thread - if you are looking for something similar to this then you should consider the Maze Alpha. I got mine from Amazon, it is a rather heavy phone at first but I don't notice it now but the battery lasts all day with heavy use, it has a slick design and a great screen. I have been using it for three months and hands down it is the best phone I have owned - and it only cost me £160.

Fair enough point.

I've had about 15 Chinese phones in the past couple of years and follow the industry pretty closely. Was only offering an opinion based on experience but everyone is free to do their own research and make their own decision.

So.. don't replace my redmi note4x with this?
Looks good at first, but MTK chipset phone tend not to get any updates or custom roms, so you're stuck on that version of Android. If that's not a problem for you, it is a good spec for the price. . .
Madness, add 4gb to a budget chipset and people arguing it is a good deal. Knock the 1 off the front of the price and you could argue it is decent value

There are so many similar phones out there that will be difficult to recomend something.
I got myself a few weeks ago a Xiaomi Redami Note4 global version, 4 Gb + 64 Gb with Qualcomm 625 and 4100mAh battery for £140 from chinese website (but EU warehouse so no import taxes).
That's why this deal do not look very good value to me.

I would suggest that this phone is inferior in every department to the Redmi Note 4X

Why does the Note 4X need to be replaced? There aren't very many phones sub £200 that are better

If you are following the industry "Pretty closely", how come you've had 15 phones in the past 2 years?

Are you either having to replace them every 7 weeks as they are faulty or you are they are not as good as you thought and buying something you think is better?

I have a Galaxy s6 and it does everything I need to without costing a fortune.

If the phone fits your needs and budget, get it.
If you want to wait for the next big thing, then you will be continuously waiting as something bigger and better is always "Just around the corner"

That's mobile phones for you

Some people like to spend their money on fags & booze, I spend it on Chinese tech

Generally, if I pay pre-order price on these phones then use them for a month or so I can flog them on ebay for pretty much what I paid for them.

Especially if, like this weekend, it's a £1 final fee on ebay...

And even if I make a £20-30 loss on the phone that's much less than a night out on the sauce costs these days

Thanks for posting that,
in the scheme of things it looks like quite a nice, fairly quick, responsive phone considering its price and if it wasn't for the dull looking camera shots I would have bought it.
I think it will suit a lot of people and even more when it drops to sub£150, which I imagine will be sooner rather than later.

I simply want something new. I like the look of this 'new' style large, slim screen. As mentioned my son calls them fake iPhone x's. I think I'm getting the look for not alot of 💰

This OUKITEL phone looks more like the iPhone X, the one in this deal is more of a Galaxy S8 clone.

I posted a deal for the oukitel here

It has broadly similar specs to the phone in this deal but from a slightly better known manufacturer - I've had on oukitel before and was pretty well made.

Sh1t. That one really does look like an iPhone X. Thanks!
I keep upto date with mobiles out and coming out but even I'm falling behind - there's just too many manufacturers from the East to keep up!

We don't have enough and they have way too many!

In that case you might want to look for something better as i do not think the price is justified. For an extra £100 could have got the one plus 5T which was about £300 a week ago on gearbest although it was from HK so possibly import fees if stopped at customs. The problem i had with Xiaomi is that it took me a great deal of time to go trough all the slight variations between models to get the right one.
Hope this link helps those who take an interest in phone reviews. I've subscribed to this fella, he does a decent job on obscure manufacturers and the big boys to.

I actually seen another while looking and it looked really nice the Vkworld S8. But I'm not in the market for a new phone myself. Merely curious about how much these ones have come on. The Vkworld S8 has nearly no besel and is £125 at the min
