Was browsing in my local Ikea yesterday, was after some meatballs =) and came across somes can of Kopparberg (pear), prices were 95p for the non-acoholic & £1.05 for the alcohol ones. These are 500ml cans, so I personally think its a good deal =)

Deal is shown on the website, but can't buy =(

I assume this is nationwide too.

i love this stuff, this is a bargain

The non alcoholic version was 55p a can when I bought it last at IKEA (some time early to mid 2008) so it's rather expensive at 95p a can.

:whistling: your point is? its the current price that matters, I believe this is the cheapest at the moment. I could say I paid £1 for a bag of chips in 2007, now its £1.10 :x :whistling:

Ive been buying this from Ikea for years, they've always sold it, before it was available in other shops here. I don't think this is a deal, Im sure its the usual price. Depends I suppose if you are a person that prefers a bottle to a can.

the meatballs are good as well from the shop there.

eugh, sweeter than pear drops. brothers festival strength cider all the way!

overpriced garbage imo nuthing more than an alcopop

Very sweet and over priced. You'd get a better price on Bulmers which is a much nicer pear cider imho.

Ikea have been selling this for the last few years..

its always been around £1.05 per can in there....

Following one of my many trips to Sweden, i had a bit of a thing for it!

Asda regularly do these (bottles) for £0.74.. at the moment they are £1.34.. Im waiting for them to drop again (price drop normally last a week or so) to stock up again.

I often shop in asda, and always pick some Kopparberg up. Only twice have i saw them that cheap. They are currently £1.97 for the pear alcoholic bottles. £5.48 for the 4 cans is the cheapest i can pick up usually.

The non alcoholic ones are cheaper though

This is a hot deal for me. Next time i'm in IKEA i'm stocking up!!

Glass bottles need to be taken to the bottle bank (or dumped in my garage for months)

Cans FTW!

Could argue that cans should be taken to the can bank

Actually, i do notice the difference in taste when drinking out of a bottle, rather than a can. Maybe it is psychological i'm not sure!

I know i have posted above... but really... week in week out you cant really beat the price...

With IKEA.. you know how much it is any time of the year and dont have to wait for "ROLL BACK" offers etc in the supermarket..

You miss the point entirely. A 10 percent increase in 2 years is pretty fair, a 70+ percent increase in less than a year is horrendous. I didn't vote hot or cold, just made a point that the non-alcoholic version was expensive in comparison to what it was.
