Well I have to say I am impressed! I want one! But I have never played a musical instrument in my life and have no idea how they get this to produce the sounds, rythm and replaying!

Still, it's a hot deal! Firebox want £149.99 for this!

I bought one off a Japanese Ebayer two years ago for £78 new. They're good bits of kit for performance only though because there is no memory in them. So once you turn it off, that's it. Unless you have written down every Gate, pad touch location or instrument. Not to mention the scale as well.

Fun, but it's not that different to the £10 stylophone beatbox really. It's just a better style and it's a Korg. Mine is electric pink but you're better off with a Korg Kaoss pad or a decent synth.

£5 is a deal. But not a massive one. Same price at decks.co.uk and lots of other online retailers.
Best bet is to get it off eBay.

This is a really good price but even my budget wouldn't stretch to that so I got one second hand (in vgc) off eBay for £75. The number of preloaded sounds multiplied by the variation of the pad and other controls means you will always be able to create something new and fresh. The sound output and performance of the unit is top!

There is no means to record what you've created but I just use a cable which has the standard headphone jack either side, then hooking it up to a laptop, you can use sommat like TotalRecorder to record whatever comes through the soundcard (i.e. the speakers).

If anyone wants a cheap option or to try before they buy, give Korg DS-10 on a Nintendo DS a try.

All of the current buy it now's on ebay (with p&p) are more expensive than £115 delivered. This is a decks.co.uk deal and most other suppliers seem to be at least £119 + p&p.

Why not buy a DS and Korg DS-10? It's got one of these built in and a lot more.

Never really seen one of these before but after watching a few youtube videos I don't think this is really worth over £100. I think something around £40 would be a fair price. Not voted.
